I can assure you Magnus Group paid nothing like this, especially for the initial 2 year deal, although there was an increase upon promotion but nothing like the figures you are mentioning, however that is not to say the club aren't quoting these figures currently, as the clubs position on all fronts has massively changed since the original Magnus deal. |

Yes, this is correct, however the driver shortage is currently standing at 100,000 in the UK alone, Brexit has had an impact but so has IR35 and Covid just as if not more significantly. I’m not pro Brexit but it’s too simplistic just to blame Brexit. The Government were warned 5 years ago, unless this change there will be a driver shortage of 50,000 in the UK, which they’ve ignored. Chuck in Brexit, IR35 and Covid this has double to cause the UK supply chain to come grinding to a halt |

I must say I think Magnus Group have made the most of the exposure on offer with their signage, particularly at the entrance and back of the stands near practice pitch as well as pitch side, great brand awareness for a local company, well done to all involved in putting it together ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

Where have I said I’m annoyed, just purely pointing out that it’s posdible the club might not actually receive any more money. You OP suggests people think ME will buy a boat with the funds which could be implied as trolling. |

I don’t believe he will buy a boat, but it’s quite possible he / The ME Group receives the money and he puts equivalent amount less into the club, therefore reducing his level of commitment.
No additional funds per se available, just a crappy, tacky looking design ruining the look of the shirts.
Is this not possible ???? |

That was certainly my thought process as well, only passing on what I was aware of, it could well be as indicated by Elder Grizzly that there were other parts to the deal ME wasn't happy with. |

Word on the grapevine is that ME has approached MM about extending his contract, but MM has told ME he wants to leave in the summer, and I expect MM to be here at least until we are mathematically safe. |

I don't think you are too far off the mark, I was told an offer was made to ME around Christmas 2016 for approx.$ 20 Million but he was looking for $ 25 Mill. I also think what the OP has heard is probably there or thereabouts. |

FFS - Is it that bad that you are slating a 17 year old that has come into 1st team football this season. IMO I thought Tristan was one of our better players to Day, and has done well this season. Having watched Tristan from a young age I might be s little bias but I truly believe the likes of him, Andre, Downes, Folami & Ben Knights are the clubs future. The OP is surely fishing ?? |

Training with Birmingham, apparently been very impressive pre season with Birmingham. if they sign him and he sorts his attitude out, he will be sensational in the Championship. Wages would probably of been too much of a risk for us, but he could have a massive influence on Birmingham this season. |

Wasn't the 5 point plan only announced in Jan after the Lincoln debacle ?? If so surely it's far too soon to ascertain if any of the points are being adhered too, with the exception of point 5, albeit safety 1st had to be the objective.
The summer, pre season and End of the transfer window will show the clubs true intentions, all I'm confident what I think will happen. |

Totally agree with your sentiment, but MM has to also be brave and more adventurous, otherwise after the initial 20 mins of singing etc, it will revert back to type IF the team are set up not to concede, just like every home game. It is just as much down to the players/MM to get the fans going as it is for the fans to get the players confidence up !! |

We will just have to disagree on this subject then. I just feel loyalty is a two way thing. Luke has played through injuries and had injections to get on the pitch, so has gone beyond the call of duty, however the fact the haven't / will not speak to him about his contract is disrespectful in my mind. |
