One of my worries going forward was the ages of Luongo (31 in September), and Morsy (32 in September). This goes a decent way to alleviating that. With Humphries as an ever improving back up, and hopefully Camara having an injury free season, we look quite strong in what is a key area.

Also, £1.5m in today's financial climate is a really good deal IMHO.

I really don't remember the 25 clean sheets in 98/99. My memory of that era was more of always scoring one more than our opponents. Shows how bad memory can be sometimes.

Great news, it would be incredible to get 28k or so for those three games. If we do well then I'd bet the club will get their money back fourfold over the course of the season.
