Ah thanks TWTD hive-mind. Yes he hit the post in the play offs with something similar didn't he. Exciting times to be a Town fan, that second half of the 90s. |

Does anyone remember a free kick he scored where he's right on the edge of the box so has to dink it more than power it? Went into the top corner. |

When did you turn 18? I turned 21 in 2001 and yeah, safe to say at lot has happened. Who was it who said we were at “the end of history”? |

I had to look up who Townsend was! No memory whatsoever of signing him. |
 | Forum Reply | How are you rating this transfer window? at 12:12 28 Aug 2024
It’s difficult to see how it could be much better, given the restrictions of FFP and of our status as a newly promoted club. I’d honestly give it a 9, and make it a 9.75 if we sign a genuinely fit Broja |

Ha ha, ditto. It felt surreal the evening before, waves and waves of water coming out. Given that girls pee out of their bums, I’d imagine it feels quite normal to them! |

Sorry to hear that, but glad the result was, like mine, clear. I had the same experience, receiving a letter from my local hospital saying I was on the ‘suspected cancer pathway’. No explanation or anything. I looked up the details and less than 10% of people on that pathway actually have cancer. But i found that out from the cancer charity MacMillan. It would’ve been nice if I’d got the same kind of context from my GP or local hospital before they dropped that bomb. Anyway, glad you’re well. |

Hopefully they cleaned the scope in between. For anyone who thinks that they might need one, but is anxious about the process, I just wanted to say don’t be. I’m an absolute wuss with pain, easily anxious/panicky, and the idea of someone sticking something down my throat/ up my arse is not a nice one. It’s absolutely fine. The worst pain was the cannula going in, and the worst feeling in general was the bowel prep they give you the night before to clean your bowels. The sedation works a treat, even if you are a significant drinker or user of other substances. So yeah, I don’t know who needs to hear this but just don’t worry, get it done, you’ll feel happier that you have. |
 | Forum Thread | Shared trauma of relegation. at 12:46 21 May 2024
I’m going to go out on a limb and say that I think it’s actually beneficial that no one in our squad has suffered a relegation from the Prem after being beaten most Saturdays. Leicester and either Leeds/Southampton will have squads full of players who have recent memories of trying and failing to stay in the division. A lot is made of ‘premiership experience’ but I feel that this only really applies when that experience is positive. Our green-ness is being used by some as a factor that increases the chance of relegation, but hopefully the opposite is true. Thoughts? |

I’d say there’s only two. No team outside the big 6/7 is really safe from relegation. All It takes is a combination of a bad start, a few injuries, and the odd bit of bad luck, and I think every team outside the top clubs is vulnerable. |

I did, absolutely nothing. Said hello. He is limping btw. Was very proud of my son for saying he had no interest in meeting him, especially when all the Norwich supporting kids in his class were having kittens. |
