Terrystowel - wow. What a statement. Try sam parkin. And for premier league - have a look at Peter Crouch. Some people have lived a very sheltered life. |

Orraman - good call re Dom Bell. If at all possible i would sign Morgan Whittaker. Someone mentioned a while back that there is a january recall option and it would weaken Plymouth. Perhaps take Camara out as don't think he will get match fit after his latest injury and get some midfield steel in. Thats about it. |

Wow!!!. We win 3-0 and yet people are being called the c word for having an opposing view. This is suppose to be season of peace and goodwill so those comments should be retracted and an apology given. We should all accept that everyone will have different opinions and get on with life. Even if you don't agree with the sentiments being written by some. |
| News Comment | EFL Matches Postponed as Mark of Respect at 18:30:40
It is not odd that rugby is being played. The policing for that is much lower. If you are worried and worked up about this weekend think about next weekend with a lot of police being drafted into the capital for the funerals. Further postponements inevitable. |

19781981twtd - pretty sure if there was a vote done by the club and not this website for moaners, Blues1 would win. For once, I completely agree with what they and ArnieM have written. The country shuts down for a weekend - it's not like we are in a lockdown with Covid again. Stay in and talk to the wife, or get down the pub and get on it - the wife/mother/husband won't care , they are normally glad to see the back of you for a couple of hours!!. |
| News Comment | Keogh Signing Confirmed at 13:15:05
Blueboy - thought i would look at posts to get my facts right. i do think you need to calm down a little with people who disagree with you - your post history is really not pretty. On 26 June, Blueboy posts: "This has unfortunately become no place for sensible comment - much of it has degenerated into almost hatred and abuse of other Fans. Has it been taken over by Aliens, Kids, and Christ only knows what else. Whatever, it's certainly lost the great credibility it once had." Today he tells a fellow supporter to STFU, for questioning why all his posts are negative. At least we have signed the "brain and brawn" he was crying out for a month ago. I will agree with him that we need a striker - plenty of time for that though. Another 3 weeks to get that right. Do we have any scouts abroad looking for a striker?? |
| News Comment | Millwall Friendly Hit By Rail Strike at 22:35:03
The rail union boss earns over £160,000 a year. And you thought footballers earnt too much. And of course, he still gets paid when the workers go on strike. A band 6 nurse gets £28,000. A ticket collector gets £33,000 - both average salaries. Pay the Nhs a decent wage (all goverments have failed since mid seventies) and let the railworkers strike. Less people use the railway, so they will screw themselves like british leyland. |
| News Comment | Town Make Bid For Leeds Left-Back Davis at 15:17:16
blues1 - brave comment to make about our finances and now being in a position to bid what they want. I must have been the only one who was mildly concerned that Evans wrote off all of the debt 10 months into the accounting period, have our covid lost turnover (£4m) covered by the covid grant (£2.5m) and fulough (£1.5m) only sign 4 players to the end of June 2021, and still manage to record a £7 million loss. I am just concerned that the debt could spiral like it did under Evans - although this lot appear to be 10 times better than Evans. As for this player - know nothing about him and will have to ask a friend who supports Leeds when he returns from holiday |
| News Comment | Town Made £7.6m Operating Loss in 2020/21 at 17:45:05
Am i the only one on here who don't think the figures add up. Evans wrote the debt off 10 months into the accounting period. The covid losses were covered by grant and furlough payment, yet we still run at a significant loss with salaries running at 166% of income. We only purchased four players before june 30 last year. I think this points to freebies only this year. Hope i am wrong. Next years accounts will be the most interesting. If debt levels are the same then, i think we are in for much of the same under Evans. |
| News Comment | Norwood Holds Bristol Rovers Talks at 17:55:39
