When going to the ticket page still says Premier league with a picture of Delap. Very very poor form to have not changed this yet. |

Yep I was thinking along those lines. Probably helps actually, plus stops you putting seats in the basket and them they becoming not available by the time get to checkout. |

Yep going much slower for everyone it appears. I'm assuming/hoping that the number is a indicator of chances of getting a ticket rather than the amount of time. |
 | Forum Reply | Hirst at 21:27 4 Sep 2025
I just don't rate Hirst as a ideal striker for a team pushing to get to the Prem. Yes I know he was here before but the players behind him aided him greatly. As painful as it is to say him and the ginger one from 'that' club are a long way apart in terms of ability in my humble opinion. I actually wonder if we made some enquiries over the summer for him. |

In that magical league 1 season we had most shots in 45/46 games with 1 game us having a equal number as the opposition? If anyone cares to have a guess? Most games we were having 3 or 4x the amount of shots. During that winter period it just wasn't falling for us and show how truly fickle some fans are that at the time they were wanting a change. |

I had a look through and this is my prediction with how it ends up if all were to remain fit. Palmer Young O'Shea Kipre Davis Matusiwa Cajuste Egeli Akpom Philogene Ivan Subs: Szmodics, J. Clarke, McAteer. Nunez, Hirst, Greaves, Furlong, Walton. Johnson Others: Button, Taylor, Humphreys, H. Clarke, Baggott Don't forget we get still get loans in (I think) |

Agreed. Just like most on here change their opinion on the team with 1 solitary result those same people are changing their mind on the transfer window in the space of a couple of days. It's just your typical football supporter who on average doesn't have the IQ to have a balanced assessment. |

In the current climate that seems a bargain. I can only assume it's because of his injury record. |

Coventry's next game - Home to Norwich. Although I doubt Wolf will be a starter from the off. |
 | Forum Reply | Was the Championship this attritional last time round? at 10:03 1 Sep 2025
Agreed but it will just take more time to figure out. Look at Coventry for example. No doubt they are facing similar set-ups from teams yet have been free scoring, and that's due to them having a settled side who all know each others roles. We'll get there also. |

Have a day off you absolute b-end. We really would be so much better off without these type of so called 'supporters'. |
 | Forum Thread | We'll be mid-table this time next week. Stop moaning. at 17:43 23 Aug 2025
It amazes me how more than 90% of our supporters appear so uneducated regarding the building of a squad and the time it takes for things to click into place. Look at any squad rebuild, or when a new manager comes in (which is the same in terms of building a new team usually) and look how performances grow naturally and therefore results come with that. Yes, we have a few players that might end up being big money flops and for that go ahead and moan when/if that happens. But right now these players are maybe being asked to play unfamiliar roles which will soon become familiar. Once the transfer window is closed and we have played 10-12 games then if we're not winning go ahead and moan until your heart is content. I hate to bring out the stats card, but most days we win that game today and when we sharpen up and the team becomes much more settled these games could well become routine wins. If we beat Derby we will be bang on mid table and all of a sudden looking up. |

Yeah sorry meant to say days......4 days if you include Sat and today. Slight exaggeration to add the /5. Sorry. |

Does anyone have an idea what the state of play might be with him? From how I was reading the initial report it seemed quite likely a deal would get done and then no news at all for 4/5 days....not even on the message boards. It feels a few times this off season of a fairly concrete report to then seemingly be turned to dust quite quickly. I know the Ipswich way is to suddenly announce deals which is a positive but just wondering if people are expecting this to be a deal that happens? [Post edited 19 Aug 10:55]

I see the entire fixture list in front of me and that is indeed correct. Unless what I have is fake news! I won't be silly enough to say what the first game is. [Post edited 26 Jun 10:51]
