I see the entire fixture list in front of me and that is indeed correct. Unless what I have is fake news! I won't be silly enough to say what the first game is.
There has to be some players out there....especially the type who have played a few seasons in the prem and champ who prefer the champ. Being in a team that wins often as opposed to losing often and scoring far more goals. They have experienced playing at the big grounds and now prefer that winning feeling over anything else. Of course most players would not be this way inclined but there must be some.
Yeah fair points and often I wish I was able to just bypass the negative stories. You could be right. I'm lucky to have travelled a lot and do not see in many places what I see here, however like you say maybe this country has always been inferior in those things but social media hasn't always bought it to my attention.
Strewth the decline is visible all around us.....dirty, huge prices, no manners, crime, entitlement, disrespect everywhere I turn. Maybe you don't notice it.....I wish I didn't.
Likewise not sure I'd get overly excited about being promoted again either but I'd always say Ipswich over England.
With the turgid style of football and the increasing rapid decline of this country I just can't find myself being bothered if England win or lose. I'd take Ipswich winning our first game of the season over England winning something. Luckily though it's a hypothetical question though so maybe both might happen. No doubt some down votes but that's just how I feel.
Each country is different and in the US different states mean different rules. I go to Vegas each year and smoking is allowed in casinos and indoors. Although do not notice it too much because of the vast size of them.
Even better still just let the corner happen like they should and if there is a foul give a free kick or penalty accordingly. It’s all very simple. Why is a corner suddenly refereed in a different way to any other aspect of the game. Players shouldn’t be given advice on what can and can’t do in play. Let the corner happen and penalise accordingly if a foul has been committed. It’s not rocket science.
As usual it sounds many people just do not understand odds and probability. Yes we were 3rd favourites to go down but it does not mean we were more than 50%. I also bet on Ipswich to stay up on the exchanges at almost exactly evens. With so much liquidity that is a true gage. As it goes during the entire season we were odds against to go down after the Fulham game and just before they scored their equalizer is the exact point we were the longest odds during the entire season at about 6/4 (2.5) to be relegated.
On the flip side I also bet on Leeds at exactly evens at the exchanges so they were about 50% to get promoted. However with hindsight and the way it's played out it's easy to think there was more chance of Leeds getting promoted than us getting relegated but there was not even if the mind thinks there was.
Spot on. For everything McKenna has done great he has been too naive to think so many changes for apparent better players is worth more than keeping some of the nucleus of the squad together.
When the season comes to an end players like Broadhead are well entitled to look at the table and wonder why they played so little. Also such players will rightly think twice about wanting to be part of a championship team again in the knowledge that if we did go straight back up they'd be demoted to warming the bench again.
He done okay but it seems to have gone totally un-noticed that he was playing Yates miles onside for their goal yesterday while everyone had pushed up perfectly. That seems to have gone under the radar.
Might be worth anyone wanting to lay any blame at his door remembering if it wasn’t for his last minute winner vs Wolves we wouldn’t still be in with a realistic chance of staying up.
I’d rather not blame anyone but would question why someone like Clarke with a good pen record and fresh on as a sub is not a better option than Taylor.
Who knows, if we make the great escape it could be that going out here is what helps us achieve that.
Yep seemed an odd choice given at the final whistle appeared to have cramp. Doesn’t say too much about the confident of Clarke when his fresh legs were considered less chance of scoring than Taylors. Townsend on set pieces so would have been an option.
Yep it really was a great effort. It does confirm for me we’ve made far to many changes this season however and if we hadn’t have done would almost definitely have more points….just my opinion.
