Good to see that as usual you deflect from answering the question with another irrelevant comment and another pointless conversation point!

Have you ever thought about a career in politics?

Yes and I have been punished for it, and yes it did act as a deterrent

What is selfish about expecting to go to a football match and not be sat next to some “prick” who decides to break the law and come into the ground with a smoke bomb?

If smoke bombs aren’t dangerous then prey do tell me why setting them off in a public place and taking them into a football ground is illegal?

It’s not up to the club if someone gets prosecuted for letting off a smoke bomb or any other pyrotechnic, it’s the LAW, if it is picked up by the police in the control box they can prosecute, you cannot be prosecuted for a civil offence that the club allows to happen, the club can be taken to task for fans “persistent standing”

Do keep up

One is a civil matter (standing at all seater football stadiums) and the other is a criminal matter (punishable by law).

http://www.fsf.org.uk/campaigns/standing/the-legalities-of-standing

If the club chooses not to eject people for standing then that is there prerogative and anyone who goes into the SBRL would know before the game that this happens in that location, unlike if I had been next to the guys who set the smoke bombs off on Saturday as I would assume they would obey the law!

Try again sunshine

In the eyes of the law to carry either in public with the intent to take them into a football ground, let alone let one off is an offence.

That could be a dangerous strategy given that it’s not the club who make the laws of the land but could not really be seen to be turning a blind eye if it would lead to sanctions against the club which has been suggested in the past as an action against clubs who don’t clamp down

And this is the problem, if the club/authorities banned only 1 person then surely it would put an end to the nonsense once and for all? A zero tolerance policy would surely work?

I’m more concerned with those who are blatantly advocating that the law is broken in an area with very good cctv coverage, I bet the likes of those advocating this wouldn’t be the ones partaking themselves!

P&R is definitely easier, only 1 exit but all cars are leaving almost directly onto the A12 exit roundabout rather than the local roads around the stadium. It’s about 10-15 mins walk to the ground so by the time you get back to your car getting out is easy

Only 1 melt around here and that’s you

And seeing as you love them so much I hope that you get injured or end up suffering because of one!

Let’s see how much you like them then!

Let’s see how much people still like them when the club review the cctv footage from the SBRL from yesterday and the “fans” involved get their banning orders!

I’m sure that smoke bombs won’t be such a good addition to the atmosphere then!

What an utter idiotic moron you really are, if you can’t see that there is no place at a football match for smoke bombs and that they are obviously illegal for a reason then there really is no hope.

Atmosphere at a football match for me means singing chanting, banter with opposing fans and you’ll never believe it but actually watching the game. I have no idea what additional atmosphere some ladz setting of a smoke bomb does to enhance the atmosphere. Maybe it’s just some sort of bantz innit

http://www.thefa.com/-/media/files/pdf/the-fa-2013-14/pyro-facts.ashx?la=en

I’m sure some of the people involved in the instances in this file were happy to be part of the “atmosphere”

Still you carry on saying it’s ok

I’m not complaining about the noise, I was stood in section 5 and joining in along with my 15 year old, what I and others take a dislike to is the flares, there is no need and i am yet to hear anyone explain to me how letting off a blue smoke bomb “adds to the atmosphere “

Well none of them are permitted inside a football stadium but hey flares apparently enhance the atmosphere, if illegal things are deemed ok by some of our fans then sure why not just turn a blind eye to the others too?

And do explain in what way flares add to the atmosphere?
