Anyone else outside The Globe 20 years ago?
at 11:33 2 Jun 2020

I remember walking out of the tube station at Baker Street and on the way up the stairs all you could hear was the wall of noise from the town fans outside and in the pub, really was one of those moments to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end

Anyone got a screen cleaner they'd recommend?
at 16:22 31 May 2020

I use regular glass wipes from wilko followed by aa anti smear glass cloth, the wilko own brand glass wipes are really quite dry and gentle but they are just right for removing the smears and then leaving clear screen

Ely is still very civilised, it’s just the stupid girl on the door at 8.15 this morning herding people in like she was ushering the kids onto the school bus for the field trip to Southwold

Good servant to the club yes, legend? Hmm I think those that have watched real legends such as Burley, Butcher, Wark, Beattie and the boys of 61/62 would have something to say about that.

Even some of the play off winning team would struggle to be classified as legends. Maybe try looking up the definition of a very over used word in modern society and sport

Offer Smith £1,000 a week (n/t)
at 14:50 30 May 2020

A grand a week? Hmm that’s p155 poor money for a pro footballer even at our level, that means he’s gonna be on less than plenty of the fans who go to watch him play. Unless of course you assume footballers don’t pay tax? I earn more than a grand per week before tax

Erm since when have kids loved "fancy designs" and please define what said "fancy designs" means?

Most kids like a shirt in their teams colours that doesnt make them look like a d1ck in front of their mates

That means you know you don’t have a leg to stand on! Guidance is there for all to see, it’s on tv adverts, the news, the gov.uk website as I have shown on numerous occasions, do I really need to link you to the tv advert that the bbc and itv are both showing at prime time or would you still like to blame the government for not personally going and knocking on each persons front door to explain in deep detail what they are and aren’t allowed to do or what the message is?

Stay alert

We can all help control the virus if we all stay alert. This means you must:

‘stay at home as much as possible’
work from home if you can
limit contact with other people
keep your distance if you go out (2 metres apart where possible)
wash your hands regularly
Do not leave home if you or anyone in your household has symptoms.

Which part of the initial list that is before you get to the drop downs (hint I’ve put it into quotes for you) doesn’t make it clear that you should STAY AT HOME AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE?

Ignoring what is written as well as what is in the government tv broadcasts that are on every evening at prime time on bbc & itv. That’s an impressive way to blame the government for the stupidity of the people

Indeed but by not becoming a police state and “telling people what they must do” then you get this situation where the dullards can’t use the brain cell they have but some here would have you believe “it’s the governments fault”

As has been said - damned if they do, damned if they don’t

Under what circumstances would you normally see the beach in Sarfend that busy on a Wednesday in the middle of May?

I know the police can’t enforce 2m social distancing but they have the powers to break up gatherings of more than 2 people outside of 1 household.

Also given that there are so many of these dullards on the beaches who are obviously furloughed you would think that they would have the common sense to put 2+2 about the reasons why they are furloughed and the consequences of their actions?

My only question on the whole thing is where are the police in all of this enforcing the legislation?

So what would you like the government to do? Wipe their backsides for them too? These people are the epitome of those who deserve a Darwin Award.
Is it really that difficult to follow this?
