Not sure if anyone else noticed the 2 rockets Sindre let loose in that 2nd half both on target but for players putting bodies in the way. If he gets minutes I can see him getting 10 goals from outside the box this season. Think the first was the save that fell to Clarke for his goal. |

The best thing for me about this window is there are still 2 days to go and we don’t have to panic sign anyone now. I’m happy with what we have and safe in the knowledge that if anyone else comes in it’s because they are seen to add value and not because we are down to the bottom of the list. |

It’s a marathon not a sprint. A slow start though not great is not the end of the world. I would prefer the games we lose to be early in the season while the team gets up to speed rather than when we are at full strength. |

Just my opinion but I don’t think we have become a bad team over night. The thing that got us to the elite table was team work, it was never about outstanding players that were wanted by other teams. Now the only way we will stay at the top table is player progression/turn over. This means the favourites do have to move on. Just imagine if these players can work as well as a team then we will be unstoppable in this league. There is no doubt individually we have better players than we had 2 years ago, the idea being that you bring in better players and your first team becomes the support act and so forth. It is how the bigger teams do it, some of our better players have been sold some people don’t like it but that is where we are as a club for a long time always trying to balance the books. The reality is it might not be the season for us this time but we need to stay strong. |

I know a lot of people are upset at the Delap and Omari sales this summer and release clauses but maybe it’s a way to get Hackney in the door. Doesn’t want to move to another Championship club but maybe if we put in a clause that if we don’t go up should a Premier ship club come in that appeals to him we won’t stand in his way as long as we make a bit from the deal. We get the player we want he gets the chance to get to the Premiership with or without Town it’s a win win for both parties. |

I thought the same thing at the time. Every now and again you see a player and can spot the talent, not many friendly games it happens. |
 | Forum Reply | Why didn’t the club offer Morsy a two year deal? at 23:50 24 Jul 2025
I think while we don’t understand the politics of deals it’s a good selling point to new targets that we let them move on if it’s right for the player and club. It might be the difference between signing a player and not. |

What if he has not cheated ? Many couples have different dynamics to their relationships these days, it’s not hard to miss it’s all over tv and social media. Yes it’s not ideal it ended up blowing up like this and no matter what the agreement between consenting adults the children need to be protected. But maybe just maybe she was aware, I mean if the office all knew of it then it would make more sense. |

I’m not a mortgage advisor but my rule for f thumb has always been to look at what you can afford vs the actual rate. If you can lock in a rate you are happy with over a long period it will give you some reassurance to budget for the next few years. Also you should get a few pay rises at work which is worth remembering. I’m 6 years into a 10 year deal but I can afford the monthly and wanted to know what my spending was, can’t remember the rate I locked in but it wasn’t bad. Good luck. |

Though mathematically we are not yet down I think the head rules the heart on this one and we know we are a championship club next season. The difference this time is instead of coming up from league one we are coming down from the premiership. Building a squad to have another go should be a little easier this time with players seeing us a club that should have a strong chance to bounce back. Coming from league one people would have had a different opinion on us. So whilst this season has been one for the history books it hasn’t been all that bad. We have won a few games that we might not have expected to and we have been in games that we just couldn’t get over the line. My recollection of this season will be that I have been mostly proud of the team for not just collapsing but digging in and leaving everything out there on the pitch. I now will look forward to the excitement of another transfer window and seeing what the next chapter brings us. |

At what point in the season do we just throw the kitchen sink at it in games ? |
 | Forum Reply | Morsy at 20:25 26 Feb 2025
I not going to knock a player who has given us so much over the 2 promotion seasons but it is sad to see how the game is passing him by when he plays most weeks now. For the purpose of progressing we should be playing a younger guy in there now as I think next season even if we go down Morsy just won’t have it in him. For sure what ever league we are in if KMc wants to play that way we need 2 players for the middle of the park. |
 | Forum Reply | What happens with relegation? at 22:07 2 Feb 2025
The thing with KMc is not who will take him (many would) but who will pay what he wants. If he as believed is in the top 6 earners in this league which club will take a chance on that. |

If it comes down to goal difference then we really are in trouble an extra point from one of the drawn games saves that. |
 | Forum Thread | Today at 18:55 19 Jan 2025
You can only lose 3 points in a game so doesn’t make a difference if it’s one or six goals really. On to the next then into February which looks on paper a little more hopeful. |
 | Forum Reply | Striker we need is already in the building at 14:41 19 Jan 2025
I think the bigger picture is more of a worry. While I think Delap stays if we don’t go down for another season he will be going at some point if he carries on developing. We need to be looking a season or two ahead at all times, we have got a lot of young players on long deals done this season but should always be building on what we have. The stars of one season become the bench of the next (not all) then squad players it’s how teams evolve. |

2 years in a row I have had a new £700+ screen only paid the excess. I have been told that to many claims against the policy can lead to them changing the excess amount for screen cover. |
 | Forum Reply | I can’t watch that cart horse, unfit bloke come on for us anymore at 22:18 5 Jan 2025
To back that up I would add that if we had better options from the bench then we would see more of the 60 minute subs we got in the past 2 seasons. Leaving Delap out there late in the game the last 2 has been because KMc wants to see out the game ( my opinion) |
