Yeah I was thinking before kick off Palace are the sort of club we need to be beating, looking at this if we were beating Palace we could challenge for Europe.
Man U are looking a shadow of the team they once were though. |

Possibly unpopular opinion but are we now at a point in the season where we take off the shackles and just go for it? We have had many games this season where we have ground out results, some people would say we have been lucky others believe you make your own luck.
Do we continue to do the same as or just go for it knowing we have the play off games to fall back on if needed?
It’s almost certain that both Leeds and Leicester will be working hard to take every point possible and both have been a bit shaky of late. We know we are a little vulnerable at the back I don’t think we have enough to catch the goal difference of the other teams, I feel that we have held back a little at times and the plan B could just be all out attack and taking the shackles off. |

But the club don’t made a decision, if you buy a ticket and don’t use it no points across the board that easy. If your cat dies or it’s ya nans 125 birthday party no difference don’t go no points, big brother doesn’t come into it. |

As long as you only lose the points you have gained from buying that ticket then I don’t see how this would be an issue. Yes people will get ill and miss the odd game but the way the system works currently encourages some to buy with no intention of ever going. Some people will happily waste a few quid getting tickets they don’t want to have points in the bank when needed. |

Regarding away ticket points and the claims people buy and don’t go to accumulate more points to get the tickets they want and people reselling tickets.
Surely in this day and age of data collection it is a simple problem to solve, most grounds have electronic entrance now where ticket barcode is scanned to allow entrance. That code is individual to the purchaser so in theory you could see who is not attending and give a points deduction which would mean there is no benefit to doing this.
And you could do what some music artists are now doing by needing ID relating to the ticket to use the ticket.
If those 2 things are possible that has to act as a deterrent to people abusing the system ? |

It’s always good to be in charge of your own destiny. I think we might be starting to show signs of running out of steam, we just looked like we couldn’t execute a plan B today. The normal subs on 60 the last couple of games have not carried the same punch as in past games as those super subs are now having to start due to injury. Monday was a great game that aside we need to hold tight it’s going to be a bumpy run in. |

The hardest part for me involving Birmingham is we really could have used Stansfield with the bad luck we have had upfront. As much as I really want us to do it I think we are starting to see signs of burn out. Someone else has a thread about unnecessary squad places and as good as the lads have been we might end up just 1 or 2 better squad players away from getting over the line. |

Travis for Luongo to give him a rest for a couple of games and Burgess back in for Edmundson. We need to stop playing these silly balls out from the back, it works if you go wide as gives more time to get back and cover but playing through the middle is a very costly game of late.
The hard part is we are not far away from getting some for back. |

I don’t think we are to far off, I would bring Burgess back in for Edmundson. Hutchinson for Burns and Al - Hamadi in possibly for Broadhead. Still gives us options from the bench when we have made a side work hard but I think that side possibly cuts out some of the mistakes we are making.
Possibly rest Luongo for a couple of games playing Travis in the. I’m happy with what the manager is doing and his teams but we have just taken to long to get into games. January was another good window but the deals late doors could be the only thing that costs us, I still think we could make the top 2 if it starts falling into place. |
