Apparently we are Premier League newcomers... Great reporting! |

I like to paint Warhammer miniatures. I have never played the game and don't intend to either. I just find the painting therapeutic. Again, the social media groups for this hobby are extremely supportive and friendly. Plenty of folk happy to share tips and constructive critique. |

Against Leicester he put a few good crosses into the box and nobody managed to get ontot he end of them or squandered the chance. Maybe he feels that he would be better to just go for goal himself. He certainly has the ability to create something from nothing. |

A song that's totally unique to Ipswich. I totally agree. We should be at the stage now that enough of our fans know the words to at least the first verse to make it work. Publish the words in the program, put lyric sheets on the seats. Lets make it OUR club anthem. Why do we have to try to steal a song from a band that have no affiliation with the club just because it sounds good if we manage to get everybody singing it. |

You don't just wave your wad of cash and the 15-20milo players arrive at the club. They have to want to come and play for you. It's a lot easier to attract a player to a top half club than it is to a newly promoted club. One club has the luxury of being able to almost guarantee top level footbal for multiple seasons. The other is in all likelihood destined for relegation. |

Any organisation who thinks it's OK for grown men to question children about their sexual habits is nothing but 100% a cult. Add in the homophobia and racism and you have a very dodgy organisation. But keep paying them 10% of your wage to keep their 100 billion funds topped up and you're good for eternal life. |

He sold out 5 nights at Wembly Stadium in 2022. As these are the only UK dates that he has announced so far, then the chances are that they will be massively popular. |

Good job it's a luxury item then, so you can make the choice not to renew. |

For the first half of the season, Sheffield Wednesday were the best team. For the second half, Town were the best team. Plymouth managed to win the league by being consistently the second best team for the whole season. The plaudits were based on our late season performance, which was something a bit special. I'd far rather have finished second and be in our current position, than have won the league and found ourselves where Plymouth are now. |

I feel sorry for Cieran Slicker, who's pay dropped by £260K in the time it took to read that rubbish. |

Bournemouth? By the time they scored their winner, there was barely time to run back to the half way line, let alone run towards adversity. And there was only about 8 minutes between their equiliser and the final whistle. I think we just have a team now, many of who are playing right at the threshold of their ability. It's not easy to come from behind when you are already at your limit. |

I watched the game via ESPN. All I could hear was Town fans singing, and nothing much from the Bristol fans, but as most of us know, there are some strange acoustics in Portman Road. Many games I have been sat in my usual seat in Cobbold B and after the game remarked to my travelling companions (I travel from Bristol) how noisy block A have been, and they claim to have heard nothing from the North Stand. As has been stated already, there were a lot of fans today who wouldn't normally go to games. I didn't use my seat today as I decided against traveling from Bristol to Ipswich to watch our reserves against The Gas. I don't recall The Mem having any kind of memorable atmosphere, in fact, it's probably one of the worst grounds I've been to (and not just when Town have played there). It's easy to accuse any ground of having a poor atmosphere, isn't it? Fulham... That was a really poor ground for atmosphere. [Post edited 13 Jan 0:26]

But, if he had signed for us, wouldn't Villa have received the same 30% as a sell-on clause, but without having to pay his wages for 6 months? |

More cringey than the Arsenal fans singing "We're the North Bank", "We're the Clock End"? As the Left/Right chant was almost directly after that, I think it was very much a tongue in cheek and appropriate response. Maybe you would like to produce a sheet with authorised songs to save you further embarassment? Or alternatively, let people enjoy their time at the match how they want to? |

I was right next to the home fans. One of them leaned across the gap between us to ask about Leif, because he thought he looked a good player. Was surprised how little we paid for him. Maybe our expectations are too high at times, we are now playing against a much higher class of player. |

Not while FFP prevents us on being able to compete on a level playing field. Our spending isn't limited by our financial clout, but by a system that is in place for the benefit of the established Premier League clubs. |

Blatant two-handed push in the back of an opposing player when they are lining up for a header or to receive the ball. Surely that can't be acceptable, but it either goes unnoticed or unpunished consitently. |

Something that I noticed at the Leicester game, that I hadn't noticed before is that there seem to be new floodlights along the top of the Cobbold and West stands. It may just be that they hadn't been switched on prior to kick-off before, but they were directly in my line of sight from the Cobbold, so I think they must be a recent addition? |
