Really disappointing to see his tenure end this way. He didn't exactly tear it up in the Prem last season and leaving for a mid table club seems foolish. But that is his choice. Get the cash and invest wisely. We don't need people here who don't want to be. |

He seemed out of his depth and didn't exactly tear things up last season. This move speaks more about him than it does about our club. He's picked a bang average EPL club where he won't make much impact. Good luck to him, but I think it's a flawed choice.
Ashton has said our deals will protect the club, and the money we'd make from this protects the club and allows money for further investment. We still have a solid, solid core. I fail to see the doom and gloom in this. We take the money and invest in the squad. |

People keep assuming that because a player doesn't renew their contract that something is rotten with the club. It could be as simple as wanting a new challenge. Seeing a different city. Wanting to meet new people. Better money. The same reasons we all look for new jobs. Some people don't like sitting still for too long. |
