Town Set to Sign Ex-QPR Man Ball
at 14:56:39

Ball to sit deep allowing Morsy to get up the pitch (and score more goals)?

Town Sign Rotherham Striker Ladapo
at 09:01:29

A lot of the "tap-ins" are in the action following CORNERS, a situation where we desperately need someone who knows how to put the ball in the net.

Most of the rest, particularly those on the Plymouth reel, are far from "tap-ins".

Burns: Season Probably at Its End Now
at 10:09:17

Not quite. If we'd kept up McKenna's form for all 41 games so far, we'd be sitting in 3rd (or 4th, on GD).

I don't like talk of the season being "over". We need to keep pushing until the end of the last game, trying to win every match, not simply jogging towards the finish line.

Fair enough to take a look at some of the younger or alternative personnel (e.g. Simpson), but the team isn't on holiday yet.

Jackson: I Feel Like a Footballer Again
at 10:48:15

ArnieM - One of the things I found most encouraging when McKenna arrived was that he said he wasn't too bothered about formations. Since then he has backed that up by being willing to adapt to players, conditions, the opposition and game situation, in order to stay in control as far as possible.

Morsy: There’s an Opportunity to Be a Part of Something Here
at 09:45:22

Indeed, USA. The issue of respect for a rookie Manager was brought up. But the players clearly respect the level at which he's been doing his coaching before coming here and the methods he's using.

Town Recall Simpson From Swindon Loan
at 10:19:37

If he were loaned to another L1 side, he would be helping just one of our competitors (and not when they play us), but potentially taking points off several of the rest. Depriving all the teams above us of three points could be very useful!

Ashton: I’m as Confident As I Can Be That Kieran Will Be a Success
at 23:01:34

I don't care if we play terrible football, so long as we start winning games as often as ManU. They haven't finished lower than 6th in the time McKenna was Assistant.
