 | Forum Reply | Sad, sad news about Whymark. (n/t) at 13:36 31 Oct 2024
That is very sad news indeed. As a lad Trevor Whymark was my favourite player. I had one of those badges with his face on it. He was a sensational player.. Best header of the ball in football. His link up play with first David Johnson and then Paul Mariner was sublime. That WBA game that people have already mentioned was a day never to forget. Should have got more England caps. He was that good. Such a shame he missed out on the Cup Final. Although Mrs T gave him man of the match. RIP Trevor and thank you for the memories. My first hero. |
 | Forum Reply | How does our line up keep getting leaked? at 08:16 26 Oct 2024
I've seen loads of people with he line up news. Seems to be especially so this week. Must have got to the point when they have got to look at this leak. As someone said it is pretty much always correct. It's probably not that much of an issue on the game but something that would need a bit more secrecy. |

Same as you. Best night at Portman Road ever and seen probably the same games you have. |

Or if this is an evening event. Book a cab from Hawk Express 01473 222222 and they will pick you up. We also have electric here :) |

BT reception at Martlesham, if that is where you are going. Will arrange a cab for you. You pay for the cab obviously and claim it back. Ask who ever you are visiting or reception to sort you a cab to the station. Easy Peasey |

I think had he come we would not have J Clarke. J Clarke is a much better player and cheaper. |

He reminded me of Douglas in that clip against Newcastle. |

Watching that sports memorabilia documentary on Netflix. What do you think would be the most valuable ITFC item of memorabilia? I’d go for Roger Osborne’s match worn cup final shirt? What else? |
 | Forum Thread | Are we too reliant on one man? at 15:31 21 May 2024
Hopefully he's not going anywhere. But my worry is the way we play. It's fantastic, innovative, exciting, cutting and pretty blooming brilliant. This is down to KMcK and what he has installed into this beautiful team of ours. It's made in his own vision and perhaps only works with him at the helm. We need him so badly for next season. A new man would come in and want to stamp his own philosophy on the team. I think this may break the magic and the carriage turns back into a pumpkin. Long live the magic man. |

Can you imagine under Evans had we fluked promotion to the Prem that anyone would have been able to carry out all this work successfully. No disrespect to those who have gone before but there was no infrastructure in place to get this all done. We have come a long way in a very short space of time. |
 | Forum Thread | Welcome to Wrexham - Phil Parkinson at 09:40 15 May 2024
Watching the new series I was struck at how old school Phil Parkinson and his bulldog assistant seem compared to our set up. It's all 'get stuck in', 'leave nothing out there' type stuff rather then clever passages of play that KMcK and his team play. Maybe they are successful because they can buy players too good for the division they are in. Maybe I am being unfair to Parky. It's a good series though. Also stumbled across a series on Grimsby Town on Amazon Prime. Paul Hurst, Chris Doig, Gary Croft and Giles Coke all feature. That's a decent watch, |
