.... wasn’t quick-witted enough to make up a second wave incoming joke.

This wage cap could be the best thing that has happened
at 19:14 9 Aug 2020

They will be able to get a contract. They just need to be realistic with their expectations.

However, unless the Prem and Champ introduce similar legislation (which they’ve already said they’re not going to do), the gap between L1 and the Champ will increase and as others have said, will pave the way for Prem 1 and 2 and as usual, the world’s most accident prone club are the wrong side of the fence.

Wilson is a decent enough squad player to be fair. Wasn’t expecting much from him last season, but was ok.

This wage cap thing is another ready-made excuse for Lamfraud to wheel out.

The EFL failure is being put onto the clubs

Of course it is.

You don’t expect those in charge (in politics or sport) to accept responsibility for their actions do you?

DoF AND a Head Coach??

There’s no way ME will pay two wages where he can pay one.

Championship Play-Off Final tonight
at 08:55 5 Aug 2020

How dare we cast admiring glances at a club that is extremely well run, have a model that far works for them, play decent stuff and allows them to punch well above their station....

We’re the complete opposite....

Pontus Jansson doing what Pontus Jansson does.

Look generally very solid and win everything, but then has a rick in him.

Certainly the worst still doing the rounds, although Gavin Ward gives him a run for his money.

Favourite REM song
at 13:01 26 Jul 2020

Great band, and my favourite track has always been Losing My Religion.

And after events in July 2005, it will always remain so.

Several on here may well the few days in question....

6th July - London awarded the 2012 Olympic Games.

7th July - London Bombings.

8th July - REM played Portman Road. Me, my wife and a few friends all had tickets, but my wife being 8.5 months pregnant decided not to go and went to her parents for a Chinese instead. She said I might as well still go to the gig, and she’d ring if anything happened. Mates said how hilarious it would be if she went in to labour while we were at the gig.
We go to the gig and REM played a great set and went off before their encore. Phone rings.... it’s the wife, she says her waters have broken. “Hilarious, you’re so funny” was my reply, convinced my mates had put her up to it. Turned out they really had, just as she’d got in the car to go home after the Chinese at her parents’ house... she said to stay and watch the end of the gig as there were no contractions or anything yet. Just after the call, REM came back on and played “Losing My Religion”, so I’ll always associate that song with the birth of my eldest, the contractions started the following morning (9th July) and she was born 12.43am the next morning (10th July).

Another fiasco at Portman Road....
at 12:39 25 Jul 2020

They’ve removed all the two hour parking spaces on PR and replaced them with MAMIL lanes.

Lambert Out.

So in 6 months time.

I’m going to predict the outcomes of those right now... Wigan lose their appeal and go down, Derby and Sheffield Wednesday get points deductions, but only of an inconsequential amount that doesn’t mean they get relegated. Or it’s perhaps applied to next season.

Next season going to be an utter slog

Because they’re the best band of all time and their songs are as relevant now as they were in the early 90s, if not more so.

If we had a pattern of play, a steady formation and an identity, then rotation should be less of an issue.

All players in the squad would know it and it would be easier to slip players in and out.

Rather than lurching from one match to the next throwing everything up in the air tactics wise all the bloody time.
