Saw the club will be resurrected and will play at Gigg Lane etc, but wasn’t there a phoenix club set up anyway?
|Really interesting comments from Roberts on Chaplin/Number 10 role…..|

And for years before when we’ve played 1 up-front (or 433 where the two wider players have effectively become more midfielders), the 1 has been so isolated, they’ve been in a different post-code…. We didn’t have the ability individually or collectively to make it work.
Now we do, as the likes of Chaplin, Burns, Celina, Edwards, Fraser, Aluko or whoever else is playing get around the main striker to support him.
It’s been a slower burn than we’d have liked, but we are moving in the right direction, and I enjoy watching us play.

That’s 10 points so far in October which was generally considered to be the minimum we should get at the start of the month, so if we can get another point or three at Argyle, that’s got to be regarded as a decent enough month.
Wasn’t it under Mick our October form was always dreadful for some reason?

I thought he was a bit hesitant to be honest and his kicking wasn’t great either.

….after the game between home and away fans.
Fleetwood have only brought 133 with them, but there was a little group of them who headed towards the town centre about 1ish making themselves heard and it was the same group involved after the game on PR.

I said this last night to some friends, we’re getting to know them now and the more we see, the more we like.

We had a shotttt, we've had a shot, we've had a shot, we've had a shotttt.....
Often heard in about the 80th minute of numerous home games in the last 5 years until recently.

My mates were too tight / sympathetic and instead of wearing an actual Norwich shirt, they made me wear a yellow t-shirt with a crudely drawn canary on the front .
I had my actual stag night t-shirt underneath, so by the end of the night, the yellow one had been ripped off and was reduced to rags.

Adkins isn't a good manager - no surprise there.
This division is (or has been in the recent past) full of managers who were one-hit wonders who have failed to repeat their success - Adkins, Cotterill, Appleton, Lambert, Cowley etc.
And before anyone jumps in, Cook is far from that - he has a proven record at all his previous clubs at this level.

I'm going too - there and back from Ipswich on the train in a day.
My Mum's side of the family are from the Bodmin area, with further parts of the family tree way down west past Penzance and Argyle were my Grandad's team.
We still go down to Cornwall every year, and the guy who runs the pasty shop we frequent is a Town fan - he was born and brought up in Cornwall and also followed Argyle, but when he was 8, they sold Paul Mariner to us and he's been a Town fan ever since.

Birmingham have been abysmal for years now. It’s one of life’s great mysteries how they haven’t gone down at least one division in that time.

Terry Butcher is an obvious suggestion....
Another I would love to see return to the club in some capacity is Simon Milton. He is / was a great ambassador for the club and would be warmly welcomed back by fans.
|What is ITFCs obsession with ‘Sweet Caroline’ ?|
at 15:34 13 Oct 2021
We jumped on the bandwagon relatively early after the 2018 World Cup I think - we just didn't win often enough to notice, but well and truly gone for it it this season.
I hate it too - nothing to do with ITFC.
And as for Foz, nice guy I'm sure - but he's awful compared to Rob Chandler.

Used to have the luxury of that a few years ago....
