| News Comment | Evans's Sponsorship Continues at 20:10:54
Evans logo to continue? Quelle surprise. Be interesting to see what the new kit looks like though. |
| News Comment | Camp Set to Complete Norwich Move at 20:26:40
Shame as he's a decent keeper, and would rather see him doing a job for us than the bird brains. I think Loach will come good but wouldn't be adverse to us signing Westwood. COYBs! |
| News Comment | Clegg and McCarthy Pay Tribute to Scotland at 20:23:12
Best of luck to him. Always gave 100% and scored some quality goals in the process. I'm sure he'll do just as well at his next club, wherever that might be. |
| News Comment | O'Brien Linked With Loan at 13:08:54
Not sure about this chap but would happily see us take the Zubar, Stearman and Ebanks-Blake combo! |
| News Comment | Town 1-1 Bristol City at 18:04:51
Some of the posters on here are pathetic. One mediocre performance and they're rubbing their hands in masochistic glee, laying into the manager and finger pointing at those who had the nerve to express support/ confidence in the team. Grow up. COYBs! |
| News Comment | Town Unchanged at Leeds at 16:00:59
Seems as though we enjoyed the majority of the possession in the first half, just not creating anything with it. DJ to score in the second. COYBs! |
| News Comment | Orr and Martin in for Town at Leicester at 19:27:28
Mick McCarthy has had four games in charge while most of the squad he had inherited have been woefully underperforming all season. I don't have access to a crystal ball so I can't say for certain that McCarthy will be a success. That said: give the man a chance to turn things around! No manager can transform a squad overnight. Slagging him off after less than half a dozen games is ridiculous. |
| News Comment | Youga Out to Win Extended Deal at 17:49:20
Ipswichbusiness ------------------ He's not a loanee, we've signed him on a short term deal. Agree with you that his lack of game time is a little worrying, but I trust that MM knows what he's doing. |
| News Comment | Town Confirm McCarthy Manager at 13:57:30
I have to say that this is the first manangerial appointment of the Evans era that I feel genuinely enthused and confident about. Only time will tell if Mick will be successful, but he's getting my full backing. Welcome to Portman Road. COYBs! |
| News Comment | Hutchings: Senior Players Let Me Down at 20:16:43
So much for flying fethers eh? Hutchings, by all accounts, won't be in charge for long, but I personally think he should have been shown the door along with Jewell, with Klug taking on the role of caretaker. Hopefully the board settle on a sensible choice of replacement manager. With a bit of luck, their first action will be to ship out some of the superfluous loanees and then use the January window to bring in some lower league talent, preferably starting with the back four. This promises to be a long, painful season, one that could well end in relegation. We've just got to soldier on and get behind the incoming manager. COYBs! |
| News Comment | Town Linked With McCarthy Talks at 00:46:00
I wasn't initially convinced by the idea of McCarthy as a successor, however the idea of hime taking the reins at PR is starting to grow on me. His style of football may not be to everyone's cup of tea, but he's a solid manager at Championship level and know's how to organise a squad. We could do a lot worse IMO. |
