To be honest, all of these discussions are remarkably similar to last year’s, anticipating we’ll need new parts for this or that. I’m not convinced. To be fair, if it were us, I’d feel the same way, but close calls are not the same things as bad calls. The Lino’s did their job. We were also hard done by, especially with a clear cut pen in the opening few minutes. The ref was quick on the whistle and issued far too many cards. C’est la vie, 3 points for the good guys. |

To be fair, what I saw was a tired squad in the second half making untypical unforced errors in the passing game, not communicating well generally and missing our Massimo+Morsy mortar in the midfield.

Water runs through a pitch into a drainage network, which then flows into as wastewater effluence, but eventually that drainage wound have nowhere to go, given the volume of rain and flooding in and around the stadium. Rotherham were disingenuous not to take that into account with their cheery pronouncement about the state of their pitch. |
