VAR - NO excuses to get it wrong.
at 17:25 7 Nov 2024

I don’t have a Mummy, being in my 50’s I don’t need toys…. Just a grown up conversation which you probably don’t want, just sling abuse at your own fanbase. 🤯

Your last line is sort of my point, it shouldn’t be that easy to favour one side and look to be “cheating”.

Anyway, Whatever.

Ok. I see your point. But that’s where it’s all wrong then. Shouldn’t be “guidelines”, should be black and white rules, there’s no argument or confusion of the laws.

Failing that, the individuals that want to ref at the highest levels should be scored better on their “performances”.

In my mind. A good ref is barely noticeable, just keep order in a straightforward manner and not try and be the “superstar” on the pitch. It’s not about, and should NEVER be about them.

VAR - NO excuses to get it wrong.

Subjectivity shouldn’t come into football if rules and how they are applied are clear, with technology, with slow motion replays, there’s no excuse to have anything but an objective outcome.
Therefore the fault is with the guidelines they use - it’s sh@t, muddy, inconsistent… it DOES seem to favour the “big” players and clubs, or is it just the players with the bigger mouths that contest everything?…. This also shows big club favouritism, I’m sure if Haaland protests to the ref, he’s not carded every time, anyone at Ipswich does it, instant yellow isn’t it unless it’s the Captain - which I’m sure is the rule?… correct me if I’m wrong. I swear Clarkes 2nd yellow was swayed by the finger wagging after the tackle (which I may add, was a clean good one)

Ashton and McKenna should be vocal and come out fighting to highlight EVERY injustice, take the ban’s, the fines…. Go down defending injustice, get it into the big media, that may again force change, or even talk about it again. I say scrap VAR, corrupt, expensive outlay for lesser rich clubs to be forced into when it bears NO benefit.

Listen, can’t pay over the odds…. It will bite us on PSR. Do we actually know for certain the clubs are just 500k apart - this just may be media talk?

Nobody apart from Blackburn and Ashton know the full details.

Nolan was a player Cook was looking forward to working with, I think he’ll keep him…. For now.

If I was Paul Cook

Perhaps some are actually confusing effort with ability.
The ability of this squad is about 30% of the one that got promoted with Matt Holland as captain.
There unfortunately lays the problem that been getting worse year on year.

Cook would be crazy to walk...
at 09:54 12 Apr 2021

He really would - I’m sure if he has any fears of CEO “meddling” those conversations would have been he with him by now, the new owners assurances given.

He could have his name all over any future success here now and he wanted to manage Ipswich.
Given a reasonable transfer budget, surely even Cook will know where his bread is buttered?

BUT ... like we said, none of us know how much he likes/dislikes a potential new boss... he genuinely liked Marcus, I think sold the new owners were going to be investors only with ME still being in charge.

Who should partner Chambo at cb now KVY is back?
at 18:43 21 Mar 2021

We have to accept now after 3 different managers have had the same opinion of Woolfy - needs to try harder to impress, the guy is seemingly so laid back he must appear uninterested and lazy of sorts in training perhaps? 🤷🏻‍♂️

100%... the first acceptable performance for FAR too long.
All the Chambers lovers need to suck it up - Woolfy and McG kids excelled without him.
It’s called stepping up to the plate, when it’s your responsibility you take it... they’ve been able to hide behind their senior - for me it’s time for Chambo abs Skuse to go and cut their teeth in lower leagues ... IF you prove capable, maybe one day you can be at the helm of our fabulous team.

Indeed. It’s appearing evident that he falls below Lambert in the chain of command and power at the club.

Dangerous times. The Joker is in charge at Arkham Asylum.

Sears and Norwood - why not?

Hawkins and Norwood would be the best 2 up combo,, a selfless creator, and a fiery, clever, selfish goal seeker.

Hope for a new manager cause it won’t happen unless.

Norwood is our most “intelligent” player football wise.

He’s streets ahead in movement, that’s why he get frustrated when he doesn’t get a ball played when he makes the runs.
