Yes Tractorboy1985 Cameron Humphreys is a player i like a lot but feel he's probably not up to championship level at the moment and is at the same level as El Mizouni who struggled last season at Oxford United. Time is still on his side and another season in league one might be more beneficial Keiran McKenna and his coaching staff will assess him in pre season and decide what's the best way forward.
It's very difficult to make judgement not knowing the players feelings. If he really wants to go there's no point in keeping an unhappy player. 35 million is a lot of money but over a number of years probably evaluates to much less than that. I can see him going to Brentford but with a release clause in case they get relegated. I think he is waiting for a better offer from elsewhere. In terms of developing his career a season or two in German football would benefit him as it has many English players over the years it's not quite as strong as the Premier league ask Harry Kane.
Once we signed Matusiwa it was obvious he was on his way. The biggest tribute i can give the great man is that Keiran McKenna couldn't have achieved what he has without him he's been a massive influence. It's going to be a strange feeling when the teams walk out for the first home game of the season that he wont be there.
He looks a very similar player to Sam Morsy and it might be difficult to incorporate both players into the team hope this doesn't mean Sam is moving on as he won't want to be sitting on the bench.
Don't know much about him like some of the experts on here but should be a good squad player have my doubts in terms of Premier league quality though. Why are people still rabbiting on about Burgess he ended up about where he should be Swansea.
Would be a massive loss on and off the field if he departed. Finished the season well apart from one bad mistake against West Ham. The support for him on here is overwhelming apart from one numpty.
Would be a massive signing if it came off but still in its infancy it seems. Been saying for months now we should be looking abroad for players in this country you have to pay well over the odds as we found out last season. The big risk about getting players from other countries especially Mexico is will they settle into our environment even more so if they have young families. I hope im wrong but i can't see this one materialising into anything .
We haven't got to buy Kipre if we are promoted it's an option and he's clearly not Premier league standard so it won't be happening. It's good to see we are shopping for players on the continent where the prices for players in general are not over inflated. I think we've learnt our lessons paying well over the odds for championship players. McKenna doesn't think Baggott is up to the job and i tend to agree with him he's hardly pulled up any trees in league one and he's not going to give him a run out just to keep the fans happy. Cameron Humphreys is a different matter he was outstanding for Wycombe last year im not saying he's first team quality but he has earned the right to come under the radar in pre season. McKenna and his coaching staff work with these players day in day out and they know if they are physically and technically up to the task of playing in the championship.
Don't know anything about him but he has played at a good level with the potential to possibly play in the Premier league and considering the fees we payed for championship players last season it's a good deal.
