Philogene has left me with a rather large egg on my face after scoring probably the best hatrick ive seen at Portman road. My favourite player of all time is Colin Viljoen and watching Nunez made me feel very nostalgic in the way he effortlessly glided around the pitch making everything look so easy.

With so many new players coming in it's going to take several games to get them integrated into the system but we need to do it quickly otherwise we could be out of the automatic positions. Cajuste showed signs he could be massive in this division. Philogene still hasn't convinced me he does his little tricks on the ball but rarely beats his man and ends up digging a hole for himself. At the moment i prefer Jack Clarke who is more direct and does beat his man with no histrionics but is very inconsistent.

We looked like a team in the middle of a minor rebuild. Morsy was really missed Azor needs games as he looked well off the pace. Southampton looked Knackered second half but we couldn't take advantage of it.

Still need a couple of players in. Don't know why people were getting excited by a few preseason wins completely meaningless.

Dispite Best Ham being poor the gulf in class was evident for all to see. Great to see 99 percent of the fans behind McKenna and his coaching team. Would have been good to have heard from Gamechanger they only sing when we are winning.

Clearly a lot of sorting out to do in the summer. Better recruitment required we paid well over the odds for players that are never going to be Premier league quality apart from Delap who has battled away gamely with very little support. We must sign players with greater physicality and pace if we have any future aspirations of playing in the premier league.

Algy didn't hear many fans calling for McKenna's head yesterday the support was magnificent but there's always the odd numpty head at every club.

Worst ref ive seen at Portman road till the next one. After being out played for long spells when i nearly fell asleep we could have easily won it. Can't criticise the players effort and spirit but there's no substitute for class.

More evidence of corrupt officials in the Premier league again today. Can't wait to get back to exciting football in the championship without the endless stoppages for players faking injury referees thinking they are the centre of attention and VAR.

The movement and pace of the Premier league is just too much for us no matter what manager is in charge didn't help Southampton or Leicester sacking their managers. To get a team of average championship players and league one no hopes to the Premier league is not something that is achieved by a poor manager.

It's always going to be a backs to the wall job and although the effort was in abundance we just haven't got the quality at this level. The signing of Philogene was completely unnecessary when we are in a relegation struggle 20 million wasted on a player that's always going to be a championship player we just keep making the same mistakes in recruitment heads will need to roll in that department.

Agree Wolfy was excellent showed composure when most of our defenders were panicking and kicking it any where. Morsy showed more of his early season form again composure on the ball. Broadhead showed why McKenna is reluctant to include him in the team looked very lightweight but will do ok in the championship. Townsend showing that he's ready to start a Premier game allowing Davis to play a more forward role while tracking back to help Townsend. Johnson had a much better game showing a good range of passing. Palmer my man of the match after i thought he looked a bit shaky against Tottenham.

Dosent what formation we play or who we select we are just not good enough. Players who are not in the team automatically become world beaters. There will have to be big changes in personnel next season especially in our scouting network it's championship at best has to be world wide. What's happened to the owners they were singing when we were winning sounds ominous. Bringing in a new manager might get us promoted again but we need to be more shrewd in the transfer market 15 to 20million pounds can get you a good player on the continent. Keiran McKenna is a good manager and would do well at a Brentford, Brighton or Bournemouth.

Godfrey should have been taken off after 15 minutes his attitude was appalling and fans sitting around me agreed to. Philogene needs to learn the basics of passing the ball he ties himself in knots most of the time but i can see why fans like his image. I agree Davis needs to be pushed forward into a more forward role and a defensive defender brought in but i never criticise anyone who gives his all for the club unlike Godfrey he was alright in Dad's Army.

Today's game emphasised the massive gap between Premier league and Championship and if we do go down and keep most of the squad we should romp this league. Players like Hirst, Clarke, Hutchinson, Philogene etc find the Premier league physically to demanding.

I prefer a knackered 33 year old Morsy to Phillips who contributes absolutely nothing apart from scoring against Bristol Rovers about his limit now. I never knock players that give one hundred percent . Hutchinson has been lambasted for his performance but he done ten times more than Leslie Phillips last night who has no excuse being an England international.
