Thanks all for the advice. It is good to know that the problem is solvable. It may not be difficult, but it's still a pain and was unexpected to those of us who do not hungrily devour every item of bureaucracy which comes out of the club. I would argue that it is also discriminatory, as it is harder for an Over 70 to buy an extra ticket for a younger person than it would be for someone without any season ticket at all. And I've supported the club since 1964, and yet the notice that you get when trying to buy an extra ticket does not offer any advice. It just says that I can only buy a ticket for another OAP! That cannot be right, surely? Anyway, for all that, one email to the ticket office and a phone call from them, and we now have three seats together! Sorted. Well done the club. |

It's even worse than that. I wanted to go with my son, but because I am over 70, the system will only allow me to buy an extra ticket for someone who is an old-age pensioner as well! I managed to find an old membership number of his from 15 years ago, reset the password and buy him a ticket, but I still can't buy an extra ticket for his Mrs! What a shambles. >Ticket owner is not entitled to use price type "Adult" . Reason: By the time of the event, ticket owner will be 70 years old.< |

As Muric establishes himself as the Ipswich No 1 - not without alarms - what of last season’s hero Hladky. That could have been him. And yet at Burnley he has played in just one League match when Trafford was injured - and one League Cup game, both in August. What would he be thinking now? And where would we be had he stayed? Better or worse? Whoever was advising him I hope they’ve been fired. |

19 clubs in the Premier League will start without McKenna as manager. Maybe what’s needed to stay in the PL is different to what’s needed to stay there? Maybe we’ll appoint a more experienced manager with PL pedigree and Brighton will struggle while McK comes to terms with the new challenge? |

If it were me, I'd try to ensure the three points on Tuesday, not risk making loads of changes and ending up with another Maidstone! If they were feeling the pace, only two days between Millwall (A) and Swansea (A), loads of travelling, little time for training, and then playing on a bog in the pouring rain night have something to do with it. Did they travel directly from Millwall to South Wales - might have made sense if so? At least we are at home on Tuesday night against a weak team on a good pitch. After that it's three days with no travelling, before Birmingham, who it seems (sadly) will be without Mogga - best wishes to him of course, but that could work in our favour. |

They’d see it as a gamble at this stage - no top flight experience. It isn’t of course but they can’t afford to gamble - share prices and all that. McK can also said that he won’t move the kids and disrupt their schooling. Looking at them that’s a few years away. More likely he’ll get some PL experience with Town and then move (or stay if it goes unbelievably well). Or give up on us if we fail to go up within the next 2-3 seasons. |

On the other hand we have two games in hand against them both now and if we win both wecarev12 points ahead of Leeds and only 2 behind Leicester. |

What do the authorities think amber weather warnings are for? It should be automatic for games to be postponed if there is an amber weather warning in force on the day of a match. Whereas the pressures are always on keeping things running, rather than taking a pragmatic view. A plane even skidded off the runway at Leeds because of the pressures of keeping things running. How we enjoy watching big jets struggling to fight crosswinds on landing, just to keep the planes running. Quite apart from the cost and inconvenience, safety and common sense are being sacrificed in a quest for profit. In the summer of 2022, we had excessive heat around 42C. I cancelled games and training for our junior cricketers on the grounds of safety. Some local clubs disagreed and preferred to have their 11-year-olds running around in helmets and pads. Fortunately, the local league quickly implemented rules based on safety and established practice in Australia and South Africa. With extreme weather an increasing risk, football should be implementing rules based on the safety of individuals, both on and off the pitch. That includes not just the risks associated with spectators travelling into flood zones, but also having elite athletes performing in conditions of extreme heat - this is happening increasingly at the start and end of the season, as temperatures are increasing, along with the length of the season. |

Anyone know if there will be a video stream and how to get to it. I’m completely baffled by Town TV! At least I understood iFollow, for all it’s faults! |

I can see there's a queue, but my son would like a ticket if anyone has one. I'm a season ticket holder, and he's happy to sit anywhere - he's well into adulthood, so no safeguarding issues! We will be coming up from London on the morning, maybe arriving about noon. |
