What are we wanting from tonight’s game?
at 21:01 16 Apr 2024

If they draw both Leeds can get to 94, which means we might need 6 points to go up.

All I want is Southampton to lose to Leicester and beat Leeds. They’ll then both finish on 93. Leaving us needing 5 pts to go up

Will there be a full match replay of the game yesterday? I understood it was on Town TV.

Running on empty .

If it were me, I'd try to ensure the three points on Tuesday, not risk making loads of changes and ending up with another Maidstone!

If they were feeling the pace, only two days between Millwall (A) and Swansea (A), loads of travelling, little time for training, and then playing on a bog in the pouring rain night have something to do with it. Did they travel directly from Millwall to South Wales - might have made sense if so?

At least we are at home on Tuesday night against a weak team on a good pitch. After that it's three days with no travelling, before Birmingham, who it seems (sadly) will be without Mogga - best wishes to him of course, but that could work in our favour.

So how much is Hirst long term injury going to effect season? near term solution
at 19:06 28 Dec 2023

We’ve just outplayed Leicester City for c.55 mins without Hirst so I’m sure we can cope with most teams in this division. A bigger problem is the lack of Morsy and these two scans. Missing 4 regulars might be a real challenge, even against third from bottom.

I’m seeing a few tweets from MUFC fans
at 20:53 13 Dec 2023

They’d see it as a gamble at this stage - no top flight experience. It isn’t of course but they can’t afford to gamble - share prices and all that.

McK can also said that he won’t move the kids and disrupt their schooling.
Looking at them that’s a few years away.

More likely he’ll get some PL experience with Town and then move (or stay if it goes unbelievably well). Or give up on us if we fail to go up within the next 2-3 seasons.

On the other hand we have two games in hand against them both now and if we win both wecarev12 points ahead of Leeds and only 2 behind Leicester.

I'd like to see the lot of them in jail. The more they get exposed for their destruction of the country, the better.

Is it Rotherham FC to blame?
at 07:11 21 Oct 2023

What do the authorities think amber weather warnings are for? It should be automatic for games to be postponed if there is an amber weather warning in force on the day of a match. Whereas the pressures are always on keeping things running, rather than taking a pragmatic view. A plane even skidded off the runway at Leeds because of the pressures of keeping things running. How we enjoy watching big jets struggling to fight crosswinds on landing, just to keep the planes running. Quite apart from the cost and inconvenience, safety and common sense are being sacrificed in a quest for profit.

In the summer of 2022, we had excessive heat around 42C. I cancelled games and training for our junior cricketers on the grounds of safety. Some local clubs disagreed and preferred to have their 11-year-olds running around in helmets and pads. Fortunately, the local league quickly implemented rules based on safety and established practice in Australia and South Africa.

With extreme weather an increasing risk, football should be implementing rules based on the safety of individuals, both on and off the pitch. That includes not just the risks associated with spectators travelling into flood zones, but also having elite athletes performing in conditions of extreme heat - this is happening increasingly at the start and end of the season, as temperatures are increasing, along with the length of the season.

Spare Ticket for Exeter
at 08:16 26 Apr 2023

I can see there's a queue, but my son would like a ticket if anyone has one. I'm a season ticket holder, and he's happy to sit anywhere - he's well into adulthood, so no safeguarding issues!

We will be coming up from London on the morning, maybe arriving about noon.

Not that it matters much to me, but the scorer of the goal at Cheltenham doesn't seem to have been added, which is costing me a couple of much-needed points!

Will the Burnley game be on iFollow?
at 11:45 17 Jan 2023

I was in Italy for the Rotherham game and I was able to watch it on Parapount Plus via an Australia VPN. All the FA Cup games were available live. You log in in the UK, and then log out, set up your VPN and log into the Australia site using your UK credentials. Cost £6 per month, but you can cancel after a week and pay nothing, although I didn't.

Amazing we have an unelected head of state and a head or parliament who got 88,000 votes out of a population of 65 million, most of whom weren't even asked, and yet we criticise the EU for being undemocratic!
