Everton bid for Tyler Dibling rejected by Saints

If Hutch is supposedly worth £40m, then £27m seems low for Dibling.

You could say that about any signing.

Are you up for signing Greenwood?

He's just not very good.

I really thought we had moved on from that kind of signing.

I'm getting worried. I find myself agreeing with you lately.

Have an uppie.

That would be a monumentally bad shortlist that went from Guiu to McBurnie in one step!!

Excellent, now we can stop wasting our time with him.

McBurnie - Sign him up

And the fact he has been rubbish for years.

The club has also made a priority of having the right type of character, so lets not just brush that to one side.

How much could we get for Al-Hamadi then?

You'd have to realise those figures first. All speculation at present.

The rise of non league teams....
at 09:07 31 Jul 2025

I think part of the reason for the popularity of non league is the ease of access to the football experience, especially as a family.

Bigger clubs all have waiting lists, membership fees and high ticket prices.

I can rock up to York, park near the stadium and take my kids to the match for under £40. We still have fun.

Someone tell his agent we're not owned by Evans any longer.

I think 95% of clubs probably live beyond their means. The football business model is pretty f**cked.

The proposed buyer has already loaned money to the club, I suspect they will be able to use their position as a creditor to takeover the club eventually.

Not sure Fury would be the ideal owner.

I'd rather not put character aside. That's proper Evans era criteria.

Centre midfielders
at 13:40 30 Jul 2025

There is big change happening, and key players have left, not just fringe players.

However, with the investment in new players, coupled with the existing talent, any half decent manager should be able to mount a promotion push.
