You would assume Crawley will beat Grimsby which will mean Crewe will need that point. Can't see Crewe not wanting to clatter Col U before half time and then take it easy. Maybe in the last 10 mins if it is 1-1 they will sit back in the hope Barrow win and they finish 6th and avoid Donny who are on a good run. It is quite cathartic looking the top of a different division for a bit. |

Just having a look at our dear Colchester friends. They are in the doo doo. Playing Crewe who still need a win to guarantee a playoff spot. Crewe will come at them. Sutton have to play MK Dons who are already guaranteed 3rd, so might as well rest a load ready for the playoffs. Sutton and Col U have very similar goal differences, so it could end up with rock, paper, scissors, or however they sort things out. |

Not sure anyone who works in the NHS would describe Hunt as sane. His little jaunt as Health Secretary is the reason why its on it's knees now. |
| Forum Reply | Anyone got a VW or similar camper van? at 11:12 18 Apr 2024
We nearly went caravan this time, but what swung it for us are those weekend days out to the coast. Nothing better than just getting in the van and ending up at Walberswick for the day. No set up, just park and put the kettle on. |

Sold our VW T4 in the summer as it was getting too old and needed work. Anything of an age, you kind of need to be able to tinker with them with some knowledge of engines - which I don't have. My advice, is if you don't do engines, get something that you can at least plug into a diagnostic unit otherwise if you have engine issues, you just have to keep replacing bits until it starts to work again. Now have a Renault Traffic. Much the same, but is less expensive, but won't hold its value as much as a a VW. We use ours as the second car which makes it much more cost effective. These size vans are great as you can still fit them in a normal space at Tesco. We ended up getting a fixed roof one as I needed the space to stand up in. Pop-ups are great, but they can feel a little cramped in a smaller van. You are basically transporting a bed and a kitchen, so make sure the bed is easy to put up and down. Don't worry to much about how comfortable it is - just get a mattress topper. The main drain on the leisure batteries is the fridge. If you're off grid or at a festival, the wrong kind of fridge can run them flat in 3-4 days if you're not careful. Look for something that has a compressor fridge as they draw much less power. |

There is a nice walk from Melton to Bawdsey which takes you past Ramsholt Church. You can sit by the church, which used to be a Saxon lookout tower and look over the Deben. I think that is the perfect Suffolk view Have a pint in the Ramsholt Arms, walk to Bawdey and get the ferry to Felixstowe for chips by the sea. None more Suffolk. |

Just think. You could buy Glemham Hall and have about 10 million in change for what they will get for one Dewsbury-Hall Football is broken |

They have some good players, but they didn't seem to have any leaders. Nobody seemed to want to take responsibility for covering our left. Yes, it is down to poor in-game management from Martin, but you would hope someone on the pitch would do something. I can only assume they didn't consider the possibility Leif would be playing as an out-and-out winger first and the left back second. Maybe they did, and wanted to exploit the space behind him, which in fairness they did for 2 goals, but to fail to adjust once we got level seemed crazy. Harwood-Bellis is going to be a good player, but he is way off being able to dominate his back four and tell them where they need to be. |

Even if we were to go up, McKenna is the perfect fit for Brighton. If they come asking, he will go. Good squad and plenty of cash to bring in some of his own. 3 years there bouncing around the Euro places and then on to Spurs. |
| Forum Reply | Al Hamadi at 12:33 30 Mar 2024
Isn't he the natural replacement for Jackson, assuming he will move on at the end of the season. Can play, or with a bit of coaching, play anywhere up front. Used to stretch teams and offer an option of running in behind. Jackson has been pretty good wide right when needed and that is down to a lot of hard work from the coaches and the player. I would expect the same will be happening at the moment with Al-Hamadi. He seems the type of player that wants to learn. |
| Forum Reply | Well done Paul Cook! at 20:32 24 Mar 2024
He would have been able to turn it around, but it would have taken a lot longer, and be considerably uglier. My guess is a Cook's Ipswich would be where Peterborough are now. And next year, a healthy 14th in the Championship |

Does seem to suggest no more Wes this season Shame. Wes and Hutchison are unplayable sometimes in the last 20 mins. Cometh the hour. Cometh the Jackson |

I just don't understand the prices Chelsea have paid for their squad. To spend that on Chilwell, realise you've made a mistake and then buy Cucurella for £60 million is mad. They deserve everything they get when it eventually catches up with them |
