 | News Comment | McKenna Commits Future to Town at 14:41:42
Excellent news! I'm the most positive I've ever been about an impending relegation, and I've seen a few! |
 | News Comment | McKenna: We've Managed and Played the Second Half Really Poorly at 00:09:38
Such a frustrating result - it’s getting hard to see where the points will come from now. And is it just me or did we look complete shattered in the second half, as though we had zero energy to take the ball forward? I don’t think it’s rocket science and I do trust McKenna all the way. But we so badly need to start winning some games now. |
 | News Comment | Aston Villa 1-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 17:22:23
So impressive - Delap with an outstanding goal and Palmer making some unbelievable saves. A shame about the red card as that undoubtedly ruined our overall game plan. But what grit, what determination to bring it home. COYB! |
 | News Comment | Hurzeler: Never a Red Card at 09:54:55
I can’t say what I’d like to in response to him, at least not on this platform. The number of blatant decisions against us this season is ridiculous. It would be illustrative to compile clips of these, hopefully to say we stayed up despite the officials’ best efforts. |
 | News Comment | Cunha Banned For Two Games and Fined For Town Melee at 12:38:47
There would be nothing to prevent a criminal allegation for common assault being made. True, the punishment would be likely to be nominal, but he will have a criminal record to his name and fines to pay. In addition, a civil claim for material damage could also be brought. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: A Devastated Dressing Room at 09:34:33
Devastating result but, hand on heart, I’m so proud of my team. Back-to-back promotions made this season a huge ask and we’ve got a squad playing out of their skin against established Premier League teams. It’s going to come good, keep the faith and trust the process. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-1 Crystal Palace - Match Report at 23:43:26
Broadhead showed some promise, Al Hamadi was at least going for it and Greaves was one stumble away from a great game. Worrying that a bang average Palace side contained us without breaking a sweat. This was always going to be a very tough season, it’s going to get worse before any chance of an improvement I’m afraid. |
 | News Comment | Tuanzebe and Cajuste Start At Spurs at 13:27:21
Thought we’ve looked more balanced with Chaplin on the field. Great news about Tuanzebe - he’s going to have a busy afternoon … |
 | News Comment | IBC: Agreement in Place For 3,635m² Behind Cobbold Stand at 22:55:21
I should add that CPFC’s capacity before the build was 25,500 and with the new stand it will be 34,000+. So I expect we would increase our capacity significantly with a new side stand, perhaps even to 38,000 or so |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Poor Goals Conceded But Penalty Decision Inexplicable at 11:28:23
Thought it was a clear pen at the time. But I’d like a big shout out to Jack Clarke and his incredible dribbling skills to get in the box through a forest of Everton defenders. Seriously impressive. If he’d managed to get his shot off, he would surely have scored and it would have been goal of the month territory |
 | News Comment | Ogbene: Poor Start Made It a Hard Battle at 12:05:57
Looked to me like England were playing more of a high press while Ireland hoofed the long ball. Ireland were also too slow on the transition back to defence. Looked very disorganised for England’s first. Ogbene saw a lot of the ball and looked useful. Thought he was in great positions for us against Fulham, but wasn’t passed the final ball much. I’m sure we will make better use of his talents back in the PL. Proud to see the three Ipswich lads on an international stage though. |
 | News Comment | Nelson's Town Move Off, Set to Join Fulham at 23:44:25
I would like for the season not to start until the transfer window has closed. It’s distracting and diminishes the opening games where teams can change so radically. |
