I would imagine that if in 5 years time we have stayed in the Premier League, gradually rising in the table to reach 4th and the Champions League and then struggle to draw 1-1 with a 10-man side in the bottom 2 that has just won a double promotion to get there we would probably think it a poor showing from our team. |

He hasn't been good enough for us so far but that doesn't mean he would never make it as a Premier League squad player. I think a lot of the time he played through injury with us too. Great that he is doing well there and maybe we will end up benefiting by selling him but I wouldn't write him off here when we stay up either. |

Thanks, Sitters.
That led to an interesting experience registering 3 cards and discovering the 4th was already registered. Seeing we still have points on 2 of them and then seeing how many I used on one but how many others expired on it and how many all expired on the other. A very useful thread to have linked. |

He made too many mistakes which is why he is no longer our first choice keeper but there is a lot he is very good with. Let's not forget Hladky made a lot of mistakes too but the balance of good vs mistakes seemed to be in his favour at the level we were at. |

Absolutely. I like the look of Palmer too. I think Walton would have got us more points than Muric too (hence why McKenna made the change).
But staying up will be because of a combination of all of the factors. Don't forget Muric did still play a part in getting the points we have got too. He was man of the match at Brighton. I am not sure if he will turn it around here or whether he will move on, but things change quickly in sport. |

From the little I have seen of him, I believe that had he played for us all season we would be clear of the drop zone right now. There is long enough left of the season for him to make that difference still. |
