Definitely confused! Your way sounds easier. Sorry to keep going on, but the way you suggest would mean two separate seats, as in not together? Can you buy adjoining seats this way? It's been suggested on this thread that a lot of clubs don't/can't allow sitting anywhere. |

A few years ago it really would have helped, you could see the Memorial Ground floodlights from my garden. Still only 45 minutes away now, so fingers crossed. |

Thanks for answering everyone. I didn't know about linking, (my main worry was being sat in different areas) so I think the best way is to have a silver membership and a junior blues membership, link the two, and buy the tickets. If it works, I'll see you at Forest Green 😠|

Thanks, so looks like I'd need to get Silver membership and junior blues to get priority for both tickets. Any idea about the seating? I'm assuming you can sit/stand anywhere in away stands (haven't been away for a few years now), but don't want to be in a situation of having to be separated from my son. |
| Forum Thread | Questions about away days/tickets at 10:40 24 Jun 2022
I live in the South West, so quite pleased about the number of 'local' away games this season, but also aware that the likelihood of general release tickets being sold is low so I have a couple of questions for the forum. I have a couple of family members that are season ticket holders who never go to away games. Can they priority buy a ticket each for me and my son, or can they only buy tickets registered for them? Secondly, assuming we had the tickets for two seats in separate areas, do any/all clubs insist on seat allocation, or can you usually just sit/stand wherever you want? Thanks |
| Forum Thread | Dos Santos at 10:48 11 May 2022
Town admin have just wished Gio Dos Santos happy birthday on Twitter, a player they've never wished happy birthday to before, who played for us 8 times in 2009 and who happens to be a free agent now. 🤔 It's happening. |

Definitely read it a couple of times on here, and obviously it's all conjecture, but it's quite exciting to think of the quality we could be aiming for. I love all the transfer rumours, I can't lie. |

I've seen it mentioned on here that we could be recruiting as if we were in the championship. If true, who could that mean in terms of targets? What promising Prem youngsters or settled Championship players would be in the radar? Is it a done deal that we'll get some Man Utd youngsters? |

Looks like I'll be rethinking Cambridge away then.... Being very much a lover not a fighter type (code for wuss, ha!), I'd genuinely forgotten that you need to consider this sort of thing nowadays. |
| Forum Reply | Train Station Aggro. at 21:20 6 Sep 2021
Thanks for the info, that's reassuring. I've noted the replacement bus service which adds an hour to the travel time, which makes it a non-starter. It looks like it's back to normal later in Oct, so we'll make our debut train trip around then. I've earmarked Cambridge away as the first one though, provided I can get tickets. |

Good to know the 17.41 is better. I wouldn't be so worried if I was on my own, as you say, it should be easy enough to avoid it, but don't really want to introduce my boy to that side of football. |
| Forum Thread | Train Station Aggro. at 19:52 6 Sep 2021
Full of optimism for this season, I've decided to travel from the South West to take my 9 year old son to a handful of games at Portman Rd (plus a few away days hopefully). We'd travel by train, but I recently read on here about the aggro at the train station following the match with Wimbledon. For anyone who takes the train, was this a one-off, or does this happen regularly? The whole thing has given me pause because A) I obviously don't want to get mixed up in it and B) I don't particularly want my son to witness people fighting each other. We'd be getting the 17.41 to Liverpool St. Perhaps naively, prior to reading about Wimbledon, it hadn't even crossed my mind that it could be a problem. |
| Forum Reply | Ticket question at 12:42 29 Jul 2021
I had the same question. I've just bought my tickets. You do have to add your son via friends and family, but you can use your own mobile number and email so he doesn't have a registered account as such, it just creates an account number and adds him to your list. Also, when you've picked the tickets, you have to assign them yourself via the little edit pen icon next to your name. Took me a while to work out why it was showing an error. |
| Forum Thread | Lambert helping me through lockdown at 19:22 11 Feb 2021
The total frustration and anger I've felt about Lambert still being at Town and not getting sacked has, counterintuitively, helped me through this lockdown. I've had such complete tunnel vision about it, that nothing else gets through. Not bad news about the virus, or deaths, or not being able to go out etc, nothing. I've barely noticed it. It's all Lambert getting sacked, all the time. Although if we weren't locked down, maybe I'd be able to think about something else for five minutes. So, swings and roundabouts. |
| Forum Reply | Give Paul Lambert the Red card at 11:54 11 Feb 2021
Great idea. Simple but effective. How about encouraging people to use the image as their avatars on social media too? I know the club thinks the anger on social media is just a noisy minority, but if every engagement they get has the red card it's visually compelling evidence that lots of people have had enough. Just a thought. |
| Forum Thread | Where's all the 'def info'? at 19:08 2 Dec 2020
Long time lurker here, forced from the shadows to the light by this absolute s**tshow. One thing that's worrying me is that there are no rumours or def info going around about a replacement, no 'I understand Evans is considering Lambert's position' gossip. When you get to the end days of a manager, something always leaks, either from a journalist or through local info. It genuinely looks like Evans has absolutely no plans to sack him, which leaves me speechless. I hope I'm wrong... |
