 | News Comment | McCarthy: Offers Upped But No Nearer Third Signing at 15:24:11
Bid of £30 has been increased to £32.47 plus some unused tickets from the Rio Olympics for a 32 year old who's struggling to get into Cowdenbeath's reserve side is my prediction.... |

ArnieM - I can't agree. I think we have good players. Chambers isn't a right back and MM is the only person who doesn't know that. I think that should we play with an attacking mentality without the liability of Douglas in the side, we'd be a strong side in this division. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-2 Fulham - Match Report at 18:24:59
Douglas has played 16 games this season and we've won 3. He hasn't played 6 games and we've won 4 of those. MM is clueless. I'll give him his due, he's made some good signings but that's not worth anything when he keeps playing poor players and in the case of Douglas, a non existent player. We're practically playing with 10 men with him in the side and the stats don't lie. Time for him to go! |
 | News Comment | Swans Linked With Williams at 10:25:07
What are Swansea playing at? Surely as a Premier League side they should be going for players that keep Williams out of the side like Douglas?! He's a different class after all... |

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results - Albert Einstein. I've largely sat on the fence with regards to Mick - he did do a good job in stabilising us and has done a decent job with the resources he's had but the football is dire. He is right in that football is a results business and if we were winning 4-0 every week playing long ball, 95% of us would be happy. But we're not even scoring goals. Mick's stubbornness is clouding his judgement and affecting his ability to make the correct selections because being right is more important to him than anything else. I like Mick as a person but even I feel it's time for a change, simply because he refuses to change anything himself. |

I don't very often post on here but feel obliged to defend Phil here. For those that moan about his non-stories, you can always start your own site. I wonder how many people will keep coming back 3 times day to see a blank screen with no new news for months cause you've had no transfers confirmed to write about. This is one of the very few sites I check every day and Phil you do a great job. You don't need to defend yourself against people whining for whinings sake. |
 | News Comment | Kennedy: Players Need to Look at Themselves at 12:07:03
The only good thing about Saturday was the fact it highlighted we should pull out all the stops to get George Boyd. Thats if he wants to come here of course. Hopefully the fact the captain hasnt apologised is because he is busy signing a contract at Portsmouth. A disgraceful performance from him way above anyone else on the pitch (and thats saying something.) |
 | News Comment | Jewell: More Additions Before Season Starts at 12:07:33
So refreshing to read/hear PJs comments - you can feel he is a real footballing person with a sound knowledge of what the fans want. He gives the fans confidence let alone the players! |
 | News Comment | Burnley Emerge as Town\'s Main Rivals for Austin at 11:53:48
I dont know whats going on, I dont care to speculate either. Maybe Austin is looking at his options and hasnt decided yet? As for some people blaming Evans and calling him tight, the guy has given us about £50 million of his own money. You should stop being so bloody ungrateful. |

 | News Comment | McParland: The Players Sweated Blood at 23:53:17
Ian McParland may not be part of ITFC from tomorrow but he got his tactics spot on tonight and got the players up for it. I hope he stays, clearly he has tactical nous, passion and can pick players up. Qualities any team in the world would want. If he does go, he goes with my full respect. |
 | News Comment | Jewell: Slate Wiped Clean For Everyone at 10:36:20
‘recycling the ball'? What's that? What he meant was switching the play from one side of the pitch to the other. You can dress it up and use fancy words, but it's a simple game.' Genius comment, people do talk some balls to try to look like they know what they're talking about. More comments like that please! |

Brilliantly put BluePhilG. I for one have wanted Keane out for quite a long time, he never looked like he knew what he was doing to me. That doesn't mean I felt the need to show hatred towards him though, I actually liked the guy, thought his honesty and humour were refreshing. Shame he didn't suceed. |
