I don't think the ownership will be accepting of "bobbing along without actually getting up". There's a business behind this, and whilst it will have done much better than they might have envisaged, they'll only make returns in the Premier league. Your right that promotion ends with a reward of being back to what you dislike, but promotions aren't to be sniffed at, excitement, goals, winning games etc ultimately ending up in hope that it'll be different next time. If we do stay up - and the next 6 games are crucial - then we'll likely have a similar experience on field next season, a bit more corporate off it (increased ticket prices, season tickets, big player sales etc). See Nottingham Forest. |

Largely enjoying the awaydays (west ham excepted), I have low expectations points wise but much like last year, the opportunity to go to new grounds/places which arent Cheltenham, Fleetwood, Morecambe etc appeals, as does the £30 price cap (PR is a 450 mile round trip so every game is time and money). We've largely done OK, decent atmosphere from the away end. Been to PR 3 times. Disliked the first couple (Liverpool and Fulham) but thoroughly enjoyed Saturday. I thought the crowd were excellent I've no really expectations about staying up or being relegated. 23/24 was extraordinary, and whilst I'm sure we look back at the Championship with rose-tinted specs, whatever happens we'll likely see quite a turnaround of players and staff over the next 18 months. Had we not been promoted every chance KM would have left, we'd potentially be mid-table in the Championship and we'd be wondering if we'd missed our one chance. Should the worst happen at least we're on the right side of the financial cliffedge so we should be competitive. Best not to worry about it too much, let's see what the next 12-18 months bring, rememberng we're only in year 4 of the ownership, so we're we'll ahead of what we expected. |

Ven with the international break there's another 13 rounds of games between now and 1st weekend of Jan (4th-5th). That's a lot of games (11 games in 42 days after the break) You'd imagine squad depth and quality will come into it over that period, with the likes of Leeds, Burnley, Sheff Utd perhaps pulling away. |

Sargent missed Saturday and may need surgery, they don't really have a replacement. Sainz was linked with Bilbao in the summer. They're missing a fair few atm. The Championship is about to get busy - it's another 3 game week this week and there's a couple more before xmas. Lack of squad depth could see them struggle. Whilst they don't look ang better than mid-table atm, knowing them they'll somehow sneak into the play-offs. |

I suspect Al-Hamadi may have had a loan lined up had that deal gone through. [Post edited 1 Nov 16:20]

Except if worn by a player e.g. Ali Al-Hamidi Stuff Umbro, they won't be supplying our shirts next year anyway. |

There's only been one round of midweek games in the Championship thus far. 10 games played to 8 in the prem - they started a week earlier. Losing to Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup meant just one game this year, whereas we had four last year. There are 2 rounds before the next international break though. |

Morsy was much better once Taylor came on. Albeit the game was as good as done by then. |

5 from Leicester and 6 from Brentford perhaps more significant. Nothing 2 wins in the next 2 games won't fix though. |

We started well, ended badly. Which suggests we ran out of ideas. |

I think we might be a bit "rosey eyed" about the Championship after last season. If you're in the Championship you have to want to go up otherwise what's the point? |

When the membership scheme was announced I emailed the club pointing out this was likely to happen. They disagreed, repeating their mantra that the membership scheme was designed to maximise the opportunity for as many people to attend games as possible. The issue being now it's going to be difficult to change, certainly not this season. They might keep 30+ as the highest level to make Bournemouth ticket buying more interesting...close to ~3000 chasing 1k tickets many having been to every game up to that point. |

Perhaps the Everton resale tickets could have gone on sale at a different time. There was only 60 of them. So a queuing system for 129 tickets... |
