So Charlie Brown spent 5 years at Chelsea, an improved bank balance and top notch coaching and ends up in League 1.

Whereas he could have stayed here and ended up in league 1.

Northampton and AFC Wimbledon Fixtures Postponed
at 18:40:19

As regards fixture congestion we have only 5 midweek games scheduled till the end of the season. We've got no cup games of course.

Fitting them in may well be more dependent on other teams forced to postpone.

No callback before 1st Jan but that's not that far away. 12 weeks of men's football will do him good.

Lambert Still Targeting Top Two
at 13:00:35

this division is very streaky. Its quite possible we suddenly go on a decent run and things look better. Top 2 not out of the question.

We've certainly made life difficult for ourselves though. No excuses...

Ipswich Town Fixtures 2019/20
at 10:25:53

Only the FA Cup 1st round listed (insert punchline here)

International breaks (= possible sky games)
Sept 7 (Rochdale away)
Oct 12 (Wycombe home)
Nov 16 (Oxford away)
Mar 28 (Bury away)

Away to Rochdale looks the sort of game they might choose.

Town Among Clubs Linked With Livingston Keeper
at 10:57:06

With Gerken having played the last 2 games and Bart playing on Sunday I wonder whether both will be off.

I wouldn't be against that. Gerken is injury prone. I wouldn't be against Bart staying but his wages a problem. A new youngish (mid 20s) keeper on the up would fit the bill.

Chambers: We'll Be Seen as a Scalp in League One

The bookies have made us favourites because they don't know the other teams in next year's division. If Sunderland fail to get promoted I'd expect them to be favourites.

Sounds like they have a few injuries and have been playing above themselves. I hope we give this a real go. Every chance of 3 points. About time we won at Loftus Road again. Remember some decent Boxing Day away days in London (West Ham, Brentford)

Morris Signs New Deal
at 17:24:15

Good.

Against Blackburn he seemed to have bulked up a bit from what we saw at the end of last season. Very few teenagers become regulars in the first team nowadays and we need to make sure we don't write them off too quickly. Witness AMN's progress over the last too seasons after many decided he wasn't good enough for us.
