Yep, McKenna 100% deserved thie whole of this season but he needs to start quickly in August. Hopefully he and the club have learnt a lot and will act on the failings. |

That ridiculous episode shows you all you need to know about the bloke, what a self-centred wally. |

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. Like has been said, when I read my post back I realised I had answered my dilemma myself. My kids are 8, 6 and 3 so family absolutely comes first and as someone commented, they are only young once. So have gone with my gut and politely declined the offer. |

Applied for and was successful in securing a new management role, which is something I have been working towards for years. However, it has now emerged that the role is 100% on-site with no flexibility which does not work for us as a family. My current role, in the same profession, is 90% remote working so it's very frustrating that the management role isn't even hybrid. Have asked about hybrid options but been told it's not an option. I have not signed the contract offer yet. My instinct is to reject the job and stay where I am as I have to put my family first, but wondered what the users of TWTD would do? |

The co-commentator for the Sheffield derby on Sky was very irritating today (Goodman or Hinchcliffe still stealing a living?) - constantly slagging off what players should have done and providing no actual insight. The worst thing about relegation is being subjected to those wallies again. |

Indeed, odd seats in most areas appearing 20 minutes before kick-off. Shame I live 4 hours away! |

It's massive that KMc stayed but I think the amount of emotion that appeared (including from myself) when it looked like he could be off shows how much the majority of the fanbase value him. His stock in the game is huge right now and no matter how some people tried to dress it up as we could replace him easily if he did leave, I have no doubt that we would go straight back down without him. |

Ha, indeed. Sadly I am old enough to remember those days but what you didn't know or have then means you didn't miss it. Given the advances in technology and everything nowadays, it's hard to believe that there were times when we were away abroad and didn't find out results, news, etc. until we got home. Technology and the internet has done wonders, but it does have its downfalls, i.e. the hysteria of the last week or so wouldn't have happened in the good old days. TWTD. |

My heart jumped big time when my phone finally pinged with an ITFC notification, only to open it and read about international call-ups, argggh! |

If we're not ready for the start of the season then for me that lies with KM. It's this uncertainty that would be slowing preparations and the longer it drags on the more detrimental it could be. I am sure Ashton and the investors have their plans in place, but I'm sure they will need clarification on the manager situation one way or another. |

It's difficult without knowing the facts, but I don't think this whole saga is painting KM in the best light and it is making more and more people question his commitment. I know people will shoot me down for this, but I do feel that by now, given the amount of coverage the whole saga is getting, KM could have made moves to shut it down but none appear to be forthcoming (that we know of, the reality may be different) because he is angling after a move. I get the attraction of managing an established Premier League club, but no one man is bigger than any club and I am sure that Ashton and co have been seeking the same answers that we are so that our club's preparations for the Premier League can progress. You can't but look at the state of affairs on this board over the last few days, some very differing views and opinions and that's not going to stop until this story concludes one way or another. |
