I know it's been tight. It's been the company that installed it in the first place that's done the work rather than club staff to get things moving more quickly. Weather has been ideal over the last two or three weeks, which has probably helped. |

I think the AS report said much the same yesterday, although that Valencia and Como, his current club, haven't been in talks for a few days. Getafe was the other interested party, but they appear to be out of the running. |

Interesting I don't know much about him at all, but obviously must have something about him to get the move to Como. If their finances are as you say, then we'd presumably be able to offer a better deal to Como, although I read in AS yesterday that he still favoured Valencia as a destination. |

Indeed, he'll presumably be going for a scan today. He was limping but didn't have a boot on and wasn't on crutches when he walked to the coach. |

Better now Burnley appear to be out of the running. Not entirely sure what happened there. You'd assume he's not that keen on Besiktas given he's been keeping them waiting for more than a month. Saudi, financially would be marvellous, I'm sure, but football-wise wouldn't be ideal and if it doesn't work out there, he's going to be looking at a lower level than he is at the moment. Town looks a safer option on that front, I would guess. |
