For a broadcaster that is a) supposed to be providing a public service and b) got screwed by the post-1992 Sky revolution, the BBC's utter contempt for smaller clubs has always been a mystery to me. |

It's a real coop to have appointed him. |

Sorry, can I just say how much I love VAR? |

VAR is an idiotic addition to the game. All it does is shift human error from the pitch to an office with screens. |

He had quite an odd career in many ways. Some fantastic performances and high points between the late 1980s and mid 1990s - Top Gun, Tombstone, The Doors, Heat. Even Batman Forever, while not a great film, was a huge success. And I still have a nostalgic fondness for Willow! Some real clunkers after that though - The Saint, The Island of Dr Moreau, Red Planet etc. Quite a difficult person to work with as well, apparently. Still, great actor from my childhood, gone too soon. RIP. |

It's not impossible. We persuaded Morsy to drop down a level for a project, maybe we can do the same with Cajuste. You never know. I wouldn't read too much into the Suffolk comments though. He was asked about the county, he's hardly going to say it's a dump because a) it isn't and b) even if he thought it was he's a professional footballer with media training. He'll want to keep as many summer options open as possible, but we could well be one of them. |

I love and applaud your optimism and it would be wonderful if you're right. But I think we've heard these words before, unfortunately. |

I was actually reading it in amazement. Not one mention of his violent assault on a member of staff. I guess there wasn't room in the word count after all the stuff about his 'sadness' and 'difficulties'. Pretty shameful stuff from the Graun. |

Disrespecting the Premier League by... trying to play football? OK. |

Congratulations on a fantastic achievement. Although as you say, it's the 92 for now - bit like painting the Forth Bridge, as soon as you've finished you have to start again! But I guess that's part of the fun. |

Thought Burn was OK but not really what we need going forward. As you say, if Broja can leave him in his wake (which he did) then he would be badly exposed at a tournament against even half decent teams. Worth a cap to take a look at him, but personally I've seen enough to know it won't work. |

True, but we really don't help ourselves. Playing Foden and Rashford 'wide' made us so predictable - cut back inside, channel the play through the middle every time, which is exactly what a team playing a low block wants. Luckily for us Bellingham picked a brilliant pass through the congestion to set us on our way, but we won't always be able to rely on that. Good to hear that Tuchel recognised the problem afterwards though, and it sounds like those two won't be getting too many second chances. Rashford's not at that level anyway currently, not sure what he's doing in the team in the first place. And Foden as anything other than a 10 doesn't work, so he needs to learn to suck it up and compete with Bellingham for that role in the team. |

Very, very ponderous and predictable tonight. Rashford is incapable of doing anything other than cutting inside, so even an Albanian full back has him figured out after five minutes. As for Foden, I genuinely forgot he was on the pitch. Two bits of class from Bellingham and Kane saw us through, but there's an awful lot of work for Tuchel to do. Lewis-Skelly was a big positive though. [Post edited 21 Mar 21:59]

In a world in which people with relatively ordinary jobs often live in houses that are worth around half a million (sometimes more), I'm genuinely puzzled as to what kind of house some posters thought a professional footballer who spent the vast majority of his career in the Championship and was sensible with his money would be living in. My top tip: If you want to visit the Reichstag (and I recommend it), book yourself a breakfast at the restaurant at the top. Not only is this a nice way to start the day with great views, it'll also mean you skip the queues at the bottom to get into the Reichstag. |

I'd like to see Palmer as our number one in the Championship and Slicker as his understudy. Feel like it's time. Walton needs regular football and I don't see a future here for Muric after this season - loan him out or hope someone offers a fee and cut our losses. |
