McKenna: O'Shea's Been Excellent, Ogbene a Big Miss
at 22:29:37

Not impressed with O'Shea this season at all.

Muric and O'Shea took Burnley down from the Premier League last season. They have both taken us down this season. Burnley has been promoted back to the Premier League this season, without them, with 100 points.

We need a better centre-half.

Leicester City 2-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 17:52:19

We have now reached rock bottom. The fact that we can not beat Leicester City proves that all the new 16 signings that we made have made us weaker. They haven't improved the strength of the team or squad one iota. The only players I would like to keep from those 16 signings are Alex Palmer, Jens Cajuste, Ben Johnson and Liam Delap.

The team that got us promoted should have been given a chance to see what they could do but it was broken up and too many new players added which resulted in a team that had too many individuals who had no understanding of each other on the pitch.

Signing Muric and O'Shea was our biggest mistake. These two took Burnley down and now they have taken us down. Look at Burnley - they have got promoted with 100 points without these two. I bet the Burnley management team were rubbing their hands when we offered money for them. O'Shea reminds me of Chambers - shouts at his team mates when it's actually his poor defending letting the team down. Muric's contract needs to be ripped up because no one is going to buy him from us.

When we were in League 1 and Championship we only signed 4 players in each window and we signed players from clubs in leagues above and got promoted. We get to the Premier League and we sign players from clubs in Championship. What does that mean? Certain relegation.

If Jack Clarke and Jack Taylor get more game time next season I don't think we will make the play-offs let alone automatic promotion.

How the hell do you defend a corner when your eyes are always on the opposition player rather than on the ball. Stop all the grappling, and potential penalties, and watch and defend the ball from going in the net.

Everton 2-2 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 18:53:00

Delap and Enciso played for themselves and not the team. It's like they were trying to put themselves in the shop window for the transfer window. Why would a club want to buy greedy players though? Every time they got the ball they went for goal on their own. Yes Ensciso scored a fantastic goal but I felt we could have won that game if they played for the team.

Taylor: The Plan is to Be a Regular Starter Next Season
at 20:31:45

First two out the door should be Muric and Taylor.
No need to comment on Muric - good bye and good riddance.
Taylor was not even league 1 level so why we want to keep him. Give him the ball and he'll give it to the opposition.

McKenna: My Full Focus is on Town
at 21:59:21

Timmy I don't agree with you on Kieran leaving the club in the summer. He has a lovely house in a nice part of Ipswich with easy access to Portman Road and Playford Road. His children are probably enrolled at Ipswich High School. He is earning £100k or £120k a week (depending on which newspaper you read). I think it was reported that he was the 6th highest paid manager in the Premier League. He has a project at Ipswich with the full support of Mark Ashton and the owners and investors. Everything he has asked for Mark Ashton has delivered. The new training facilities being built at Playford Road is another show of support for him. It takes time to build a great team - not something you can put together overnight (especially with 13 new signings at the start of the season), Why would he give all this up to go to a Premiership club with the possibility of being sacked if he didn't produce the goods by Christmas. And how many clubs are going to better his wages that he has here? Chelsea could, Man Utd could but these clubs would want instant results. Remember him singing in the changing room after promotion "I found a love, for me"?. This is Kieran's club. He'll be here for a few years to come.

Please do not bet your mortgage on him leaving in the summer!!

Ipswich Town 0-4 Arsenal - Match Report
at 22:27:49

Got to say that todays defeat was down to Davis again. Both the first 2 goals came from the left side again when he was nowhere near defending at left back. Then he gets sent off again this season and makes it impossible for a comeback today.

His crossing of the ball this season has been very poor, his corners are pathetic - he never gets it past the first man on the near post and his defending is non-existent.

Town Apply For Retrospective Portman Road Planning Permission
at 16:37:50

@Blues1 - Man City had 115 charges against them for breaking the PSR rules. If they don't get relegated then what's the point of making rules? Let's just have a free for all shall we? Let's just let any investor buy a cub and invest any amount that they want into it. I know, Why don't we sell the naming rights to the SBR stand for £500 million for one season? Because no one would ever do that, but that's the type of thing that Man City have been doing because they are owned by Abu Dhabi. That club have broken so many financial rules. They should be relegated not given a points deduction so that they finish just above us.

McKenna: Delap Staying at Town a Possibility
at 20:23:51

After the season he is having I hope Ashton offers him a new contract with a pay rise obviously. He would be amazing in the Championship if our attacking players and midfield deliver the same performance as they did last season. I can see him scoring 30+ goals.

McKenna: Discussions Held With Burgess and Tuanzebe

@trevski I really hope Taylor is not part of the plans for next season. He is not good enough for us. He lives of the one goal he scored from 25 yards. He is a liability. How many times does he give the ball away when he plays a pass.

McKenna Commits Future to Town
at 20:04:34

This is fantastic news and should help some of the Town fans sleep better over the summer. As I said after last season ended, he is going nowhere. He has a project here and is being backed by Ashton and the owners and investors to complete that project. £30 million being spent on World class training facilities, £130 million spent on new players and no doubt more money available to sign players in preseason.

Listen to what what Kieran says in interviews and listen to the Ed Sheeran song his always sings "I found a love, for me". He is NOT going anywhere. He loves it here in Suffolk and who wouldn't.

RobsonWark added 22:16 - May 18
Stop all this negativity. He is NOT going anywhere. He loves our club and has a project to complete. End of!

RobsonWark added 22:30 - May 22
Kieran is not going anywhere. He LOVES it here in Ipswich. It is his club. If anything he is doing a Wayne Rooney (when he was seen with a Spanish-English dictionary in his hand to get a better deal from Man Utd. Could you really see Rooney learning Spanish?). He wants to leave a legacy at Ipswich and he has not yet completed his work here. I said when he came that he was on the same path as Sir Alf Ramsey. Same age, same promotions and now for the Premier League.

We bought 13 new players before the start of the season. You can not build a team overnight with that many new changes. Look at Sir Bobby Robson's start at Ipswich and Sir Alex Ferguson's start at Man Utd. Two managerial legends of the game. Imagine if both of them had been sacked or left to manage another team.

This is Kieran's team just like it was Robson's and Ferguson's. I can see him being here for many years.
