Doing wonders over in Holland. Taken VV-Venlo up, kept them up, and now they're 8th or so. He's done all of this on a shoestring budget as far as I can see. Surely he should've been seriously considered for the job in the summer? |

I've seen multiple people and bookies putting us as one of the favourites for relegation. I know the opinion will be biassed, but how realistic do you think this is? Our signings have been from the lower leagues, and are lacking experience at this level. Also we have no central defensive players. However we have quality still, and have a new manager who has been successful everywhere he's been, and knows the lower leagues, so should have an eye for the players who can step up. Personally, I haven't a clue about what will happen, but I'm looking forward to it. |

Well as it's coming home, he must have some sort of connection with us. Anyone got any def info on how he has connections with us? |
| Forum Thread | Shaving my head. at 09:31 2 Jul 2018
Bit of an odd one, but I'm a sixth former who has no idea what to do with their hair as I have a pretty big forehead, and my fringe is awful. Is it a bad idea to just shave it off and then let it regrow over the summer. I am aware it won't sort the hairline out but its just something different. |

Never really understand the idea that he's not good enough, and just the general dislike of him. He's a good centre-back (very good at times last year) and has the passion we all cry out for from teams and people within the club. However I do get that he's not the ball-playing centre-back of Webster, but he is good at his job. IMO he is on his way to being a club legend, with the passion and tradition of his fist-bump. I understand that this might be a bit too bold of a claim for the people who dislike him. [Post edited 27 Jun 2018 9:29]

| Forum Thread | Sunderland havent had contact with St Mirren owner at 13:26 23 May 2018
The owner has come out and said: "There has been no contact from Sunderland with us and Jack is on holiday so unless there is some major skulduggery going on then it's nonsense. "To hold talks with Jack, we would have to grant permission, as has been the case with Ipswich and Barnsley recently. "But we've had no contact from Sunderland at all." |

Looking at twitter, and there's a surprising amount of people saying that they'd want him as their next manager. Baffling that other club's fans rate him so highly, and don't mind his style of football. I accept that he has promotions under his belt, however his style of football is outdated IMO EDIT: I also see that they think that he is a good choice due to their "limited budget". Are they in financial trouble after all of their spending in recent years? [Post edited 23 May 2018 10:44]

| Forum Thread | My England Starting 11 at 09:50 16 May 2018
I'm fairly sure that this won't be the actual team, with some pribably not actually going, but this is what I'd pick if we aren't going off repuation... Pickford Walker, Lascelles, Tarkowski Trippier, Bertrand Henderson, Shelvey Lallana Vardy, Kane In a 3-4-1-2 I think thats a solid squad thats mostly in-form at the moment. Would consider having Alli instead of Lallana, but he doesnt seem to perform for England. [Post edited 16 May 2018 10:03]

Start of a new era, where I hope all fans are on the side of the team and we have a great atmosphere at the ground. I hope we all move on and stop mentioning Mick and how much we love/hate him. To a new era! |
| Forum Thread | April Fools at 23:05 26 Mar 2018
I can honestly see the club announcing that Mick is leaving, on April Fools, watching us all celebrate, and then at midday saying it was a prank and then announcing his 3 year contract extention. |

I saw that he played for the U23s tonight. Isn't he about 16? He must be some player. Anyone seen him play? |

What's happened to him? I thought he was very promising at the end of last year, now he's not even making the bench... |
| Forum Thread | Derby offer £7 million for Lawrence at 16:14 1 Aug 2017
That guy who got us all excited about a new striker yesterday, has just tweeted that Derby have offered £7 million for Lawrence, and it was rejected. Although he's a good player, Lawrence is definitely not worth that amount. Football is very quickly going mad... |

I love the guy and see him as almost a legend, I also usually rate him highly at center-back, however, it does seem as though he is having a poor pre-season. I haven't watched the games, but from the updates on twitter and here, he seems to make a lot of mistakes at the moment. Anyone that's been to the games, is this a fair judgement? |
| Forum Thread | Right-back at 13:18 13 Jul 2017
With Emmanuel leaving on loan, would you say that we'll get one in (maybe on loan) to have backup to Spence, or Mick will make do with Chambers there? Seems a weak area, in depth, to me. |
| Forum Thread | Pitman at 19:10 12 Jul 2017
I just don't understand why so many of you TWTDers love him, and rate him so highly. He has a bad attitude and all he does is run around a bit. Never wins headers and is just a waste of space. I just don't see how anyone could rate him highly... [Post edited 12 Jul 2017 19:12]

Who would you sign (for a realistic price e.g. £1 million). Also who do you believe we will bring in. Almost definitely already been posted but oh well [Post edited 11 Jul 2017 22:53]
