Doing wonders over in Holland. Taken VV-Venlo up, kept them up, and now they're 8th or so. He's done all of this on a shoestring budget as far as I can see.
Surely he should've been seriously considered for the job in the summer? |

Sears was quite good tbh. It seemed as though he has learnt how to cross, with a few dangerous balls. I'm not sure that Hurst would've played Ward anyway, although it would've been a close call |

I've seen multiple people and bookies putting us as one of the favourites for relegation. I know the opinion will be biassed, but how realistic do you think this is?
Our signings have been from the lower leagues, and are lacking experience at this level. Also we have no central defensive players. However we have quality still, and have a new manager who has been successful everywhere he's been, and knows the lower leagues, so should have an eye for the players who can step up.
Personally, I haven't a clue about what will happen, but I'm looking forward to it. |

I think that we should be 4th favourite. Brazil, France and Uruguay are better than us. We are better than Croatia if we play as we know we can. However it's the world cup. Russia beat Spain fgs |

Bit of an odd one, but I'm a sixth former who has no idea what to do with their hair as I have a pretty big forehead, and my fringe is awful. Is it a bad idea to just shave it off and then let it regrow over the summer. I am aware it won't sort the hairline out but its just something different. |

I have to say that I would've been happy with all of those if they were in our group, so it's a good run to the final. Although, we haven't won a knockout game for so long that we shouldn't get our hopes up |

Agree completely. I have to be honest and say that I really didn't like him at RB, for obvious reasons, however I can't see how some people haven't moved on. |

I agree that might have been too strong of a word. I also agree that he isn't the future, mainly down to his age. As said in the post, he isn't ball-playing, but he is very solid at the back, and 2 Websters would be very dangerous for us as he isn't great at defending tbh.
I disagree that he's nowhere near being a legend, he is very passionate, has been here a long time, and has been almost ever-present in those years. The only thing he needs IMO is to achieve something i.e. promotion |

Maybe "hate" is too strong of a word. As seen on the recent article, and other threads, there always seems to be someone saying that we need to get rid/stop playing him. I agree with the post below yours that he was a standout last year |

Never really understand the idea that he's not good enough, and just the general dislike of him. He's a good centre-back (very good at times last year) and has the passion we all cry out for from teams and people within the club. However I do get that he's not the ball-playing centre-back of Webster, but he is good at his job. IMO he is on his way to being a club legend, with the passion and tradition of his fist-bump.
I understand that this might be a bit too bold of a claim for the people who dislike him. [Post edited 27 Jun 2018 9:29]
