I disagree. The Football League is a feeder to the Premier League. It's essentially a subsidiary. If the Football League is thriving the Premier League will thrive also. Dyche comparing the Football League's relationship with the Premier League to rival restaurants and bars is bizarre to be honest. |

The fact that KVY, Chambers, Skuse, Ward, Downes, Bish, Dozz, Sears, Jackson aren't involved suggests this team is more of a "shop window" team and Lambert is desperately trying to drum up some interest in some of these players to trim the squad. I wouldn't say it's a great achievement that they're involved. Drinan doesn't need to be involved because Ayr United are happy to take him back. |

I seem to be part of a minority that's been impressed with Drinan. A lot of people seem to have written him off already. From what I've seen he's shown some neat hold-up/link-up play with the Midfield, he's willing to defend from the front and you can see he actually understands the way we want to play. I'm sure he won't score more than 15 a season but neither does Firmino and he's integral to Liverpool's play. That leaves us with Jackson and Norwood, who would walk into most starting XI's in the league, let alone squads, having to work to take the shirt off him. I'd say we're quite healthy in that department. |
| Forum Thread | Lambert Contract Clause at 00:03 17 Mar 2020
Assuming Lambert has a clause in his contract so that if we fail to make the play-offs in 2019/20 he can be sacked for a minimal pay-off... Hypothetically, If the season is voided, and Lambert didn't have the opportunity to meet that condition, does this mean we are now tied to Lambert for the next 4years unless we make a huge payout? Would the clause rollover to the 20/21 season? |

Does anyone have stats on how many times we've scored first in the last X games? We seem to go behind every single game... |

This just feels like IF we don't get a result tonight Lambert is getting the excuses ready. Looking at the bench it gives the impression we are resting players for Saturday. Madness. We should be trying to win tonight! |

Is this the same Portsmouth that are still in two cup competitions? But teams that go far in the cup are tired and can't win league games... |
