You'll have to explain this.

How much longer can this go on?

People should be on the streets in their millions, you're right – but this country's population is more or less one that's happy to sit there and take it from their supposed betters.

It's a superb signing at the price – four consecutive seasons getting double figures in the PL before this.

Think it needs him rather than Rayner today actually – excellent though she can be.

It's about time the local media, at least, stopped giving him any kind of platform – he is dangerous and must be stopped.

He was an absolute disgrace. A stain on Ipswich and its reputation, who cares nothing for the town and only for his own advancement.

It's very much about making the play-offs for me, we've eaten up more than a quarter of the deficit we were faced with in a single weekend.

What a terrible name he is giving the place on a virtually weekly basis. How embarrassing, not to mention deeply dangerous.

Parkland Walk is great, walk or run along there regularly. The lesser-known high bit between Highgate Wood and Alexandra Palace has brilliant views, and is also a great excuse to walk around the *even* lesser-known Queen's Wood further down, which is one of my favourite places round here.

Yep, echo that, we'd never been until the first lockdown but it's not *too* far a drive from Crouch End so we tried it and then kept coming back ... such a variety of great walks and interesting features, it's an absolute treasure.

Do you believe we can actually make the play offs this season still?
at 11:17 31 Dec 2021

10 points from eight games for Plymouth since they beat us, 12 from nine for us. So we need to step it up but you are right and I think they are capable of tailing off further – Camara, arguably their best player, is off to AFCON so let's hope Guinea-Bissau have a good tournament.

I think you’re setting him an unfairly high bar. Look at his goals/assists output so far, and after being rushed back with no pre season to boot - it’s way ahead of anything else we’ve got in those areas. I’m not begging for him to play 90 mins in every game but you can be sure he’s got a huge part to play between now and May.

When has he gone missing for 10 games? Certainly not this season, as the stats show. I don't understand the weird blind spot among our fans where Celina is concerned. I bet McKenna cannot wait to get him involved.

There really needs to be some transparency from the EFL....

Yep, these are exceptional times and can't take the health situation lightly – but the fact remains that there are certainly some football clubs who are seeking to do anything bar play football at the moment.

There'll be an appetite to improve the squad – wouldn't hurt if we can rattle off a couple more quick wins in the next week and a half to start giving us a real glimmer. Wonder if we'd look for another striker and there's still a question mark over that left side.

Yep that pretty much matches how I saw it. Aluko is certainly smooth in possession and we needed that last night, probably less likely to do something that gets you out of your seat or wins a game from nowhere than Celina but we have very nice options for that role if we are rolling with an interpretation of 3-5-2 in future. Agree on Penney too, couple of nice bits of defending at the back stick were good to see, if he switches on there's a player in him but suspect it's an upgradable position.

Should say a word for Hladky – Wycombe would have been licking their lips when they saw his name on the sheet but apart from that inexplicable punch in the first half I thought he looked secure and commanding, so well done. If he can get through that one, he should be OK anywhere in L1.

If we keep solid and disciplined in games then we should have enough further forward to nick something most weeks. We'll see over the next month or two whether it's as simple as that and if we can mount some sort of comeback.

I'm refusing to look at the table for another two months. If we can take five or six points off the current gap by the end of Feb then we've a chance going into the final 10 games.
