 | News Comment | Town Topic: The Greatest Derbies at 22:36:48
Loved the 5-0. Mathie scoring after 64 seconds, at which point I accidentally smacked my best mate in the mouth whilst celebrating. They were hilariously awful that day, even Mike Walker predicted we'd do them by five or six the previous week. And the Gunn incident. Absolute comedy gold. |
 | News Comment | Fans Around the World Meeting Up for Play-Off Derby at 22:28:17
Not missed a game at PR all season, but off to Hungary tomorrow on holiday. Schoolboy error there. Anywhere on the Great Hungarian Plain showing it? Failing that, Debrecen the nearest settlement of any size. Anyone? |
 | News Comment | Town Announce Norwich Ticketing at 12:23:14
I hereby invite anyone to my house to watch it on Sky for the bargain price of £35... I refuse to put any money into the coffers of that thieving bunch of Europhobic no-marks. Incidentally I was playing Trivial Pursuit against a Narwich fan recently. I won because they simply refused to answer any history questions. |
 | News Comment | Who Said Suffolk's Flat? at 13:52:06
And Suffolk isn't as flat as people think. It's mostly a plateau at about 50-100 feet above sea level. Cycling from Halesworth to Beccles is another surprisingly hilly experience. |

Chapeau! Come pay day I will add a few quid to the coffers. Good effort, and having done a few charity bike rides in my time I can certainly feel your pain. Throbbe's also towed me along for a few miles in his time too! |
 | News Comment | Blues Legend Beattie Celebrates His 60th Birthday at 13:30:45
It was 1982 when I saw a huge man wearing a number six Town shirt at Peachey's newsagents on Ellenbrook Green. My mum pointed out that this was Kevin Beattie. I was in awe. Happy birthday Beat |
 | News Comment | Preston Prices Set at 22:36:49
I shall endeavour to bring my young niece and nephews along. Maybe we should decree it "first game day" - make it the first game for as many young Blues as possible? |
 | News Comment | Delaney: McCarthy Amongst Potential Contenders at 23:01:49
Nothing against the Irish but I hope Roy Keane gets it. The FAI will have to put a clause in his contract to prevent him selling their most promising striker at a knock-down price. Plus the added bonus of no more of his ITV punditry. Keane in! |
 | News Comment | Foreign Interest in Chopra at 13:46:01
I can't imagine him going to Russia. As has already been pointed out, defaulting on gambling debts generally results in one becoming an integral part of the Moscow ring road. |
 | News Comment | Chopra Still Planning to Stay at Town at 21:24:31
It's been said already, but I probably could just about have coped with him taking every last penny he can from the club if he didn't tweet his complete disdain for the club and supporters on such a regular basis. Even if he is being "baited" - don't take the bait! |
 | News Comment | Town 0-2 Watford at 13:34:08
I can see Watford going up, but I think they'll struggle in Serie A |
 | News Comment | Wordsworth May Miss Rest of the Season at 20:42:28
I was a goalkeeper in my time and carried on until half time on one occasion with what turned out to be a broken wrist. Wordsworth's definitely trumped that one - THREE vertebrae and he still tried to play on. Much respect and get well soon. |
 | News Comment | Chief Executive Clegg to Leave Town at 15:28:26
I wonder if subsequent events will prove that he wasn't the problem at the club, and like Richard III his reputation will be rehabilitated in years to come. We shall see. Better times ahead or same old same old? |
 | News Comment | Chief Executive Clegg to Leave Town at 12:09:29
Whilst initially greeting this as unalloyed good news, there is an element of ME dissolving the Senate and declaring himself Emperor. Are we seeing the beginning of a new dictatorship at PR? At least we won't have to worry about fifty foot portraits of ME adorning the Sir Bob stand. |
 | News Comment | Town Confirm Henderson's Return at 23:27:25
Who said George Boyd? Just heard his eyesight wasn't good enough for Forest and the transfer broke down because of it. I'd still take a one-eyed midfielder over Martin (for example). Jump in there Mick... |
 | News Comment | The Ex-Files: Shane Supple at 17:36:10
Always a fan. One of the most naturally gifted keepers I've ever seen - I remember seeing a game at Luton we lost 1-0, in which Supple kept the score down by making a string of seriously world class saves. I can't wait to see him in the Dubs goal, but he's in the unfortunate position of being behind Stephen Cluxton, widely acknowledged as being the best keeper in Gaelic football, in the queue. |
 | News Comment | McCarthy at Brentford at 22:40:24
If we didn't have such a surfeit of strikers, I would certainly be interested in signing Donaldinho. |
