Chambers: We'll Beat the Drop Friday, 15th Feb 2013 06:00 Luke Chambers has no doubt that Town will pull clear of relegation trouble and be playing in the Championship again next season. The central defender, who faced a similar struggle for survival with previous club Nottingham Forest last season, declared: “I’m 100 per cent confident. “I think we have some tremendous players at the club and I think we have shown since the manager came in that we can be a very decent team in this division. “It’s just about taking our chances when they come and at certain times in the game, if you manage to get a chance to go 2-0 up, I think that kills the game for us. “While it’s 1-0 there is always a chance that teams can get back into it. We need to be a little bit savvier and a little bit stronger in our approach to set pieces. “We conceded from one at Blackburn last week and that was very, very disappointing in a game we felt we should have definitely got something from.” Chambers has urged his team-mates to pay as little attention as possible to the other teams locked in the scramble for safety. He added: “If you want to get caught up in what’s happening around us — other teams winning and looking at the table — you can. But we’ve got enough quality in our dressing room. “We shouldn’t have any problems getting ourselves out of the trouble we are in. I think we just need to keep focusing and keep doing what we’ve been doing since the manager came in, and I’m sure we will be alright.”
