I do not agree with this, Bolton look to be in a right mess financially, how often have we heard that they havnt paid the players wages? why would they be in a better position to win promotion?
The only reason they have 22 points is cos they had a really impressive start to the season 10 pts in the first four which means at this moment 2 wins out of the last 23, I also think they have an aging squad

Reading will have a chance however I would imagine they have a fair few earning high wages meaning a mass exodus is almost inevitable given the wage cap in league 1

New RB Suggestion
at 13:36 15 Jan 2019

How about Jazz Richards, Welsh international with 14 caps, always liked him when I've seen him play came through the Swansea academy but out of contract and only a back up at Cardiff these days

Possible similar deal to Judge with taking over his contract til the end of the season, Can't see a loan for Marshall as if we did go down he would end up back up there which could be awkward for the lad

Alternatively I've always like Josh Vela and Bolton seem to be in a financial mess

A new RB and i'll be delighted with the business this window, onward and upwards

Lambert

I can understand why people would be opposed to Lambert taking over due to his Norwich connections but Joe Royle did a good job and from memory didn't he play for Norwich?

Good luck to Hurst and Doig but it just didn't work out
Officially where do they rank as the worst in Ipswich's history?

I know a defeat yesterday was disapointing but given the overall performance there is still plenty to be optimistic about, my big worry is with the games we have coming up, if we take a couple of heavy defeats that could ruin morale and confidence.

We clearly need a new striker having sold Garner, how about Bradshaw, Winnall or Sam Gallagher?

Im also slightly concerned from what Ive seen of Donacien so far in both games he doesnt seem that strong with poor positioning? Hopefully this will come

Tilt

Quite possibly, however if we can show that we are progressing in the right direction, with a manager who is prooving he is happy to sign players from leagues 1 and 2 and importantly has tried to sign him now could sway the deal in our favour. That would show him that unlike clubs who would just sign him because he's free we were prepared to invest in him.

Tilt

Just a thought, after such a busy summer window PH has confirmed he still wants another CB, Blackpool are unwilling to lower their valuation of Tilt and the deal seems dead.

However, how about for the next 12 months we resign Gareth McCauley an experienced head as cover dependent on wages on a free, then sign Tilt next summer when his contract is up and he can sign without the obstruction of the Oyston

Fair point and Im totally with you regarding Skuse playing centre mid most weeks although for me at home this is too negative as he doesnt really offer much going forward

when fit its difficult to leave Hews out for me,either way with the options we'll have if everyone was fit we will need to rotate more and Id be happier to have skuse sitting in away games

Do we know when the scan results are likely to be known?

Have I missed something, has it been announced how long he is out for, id expect Adeyemi to be edged in slowly from the subs bench but be interesting to see how Adeyemi and Hews form a partnership

All being fit id go for Ward Adeyemi, Hews, Celina across a middle for

At QPR id expect mIck to go for Skuse and Downes in the middle

Skuse for captain
at 22:33 18 Aug 2017

That would be my concern, if things do not get off to a great start we would really need a big voice in the middle to rally the lads. I'm not being negative but Brentford are the toughest test weve had so far esp given our injury problems currently.

We need the fans to really stand up and help out tomorrow just hope the atmosphere doesnt turn if things dont go right. I'll certainly be shouting and singing in full support from Sir Bobby's end

Not a bad shout but other than maybe Buffon cant really think of too many keepers in recent years that have captained there team?

Joe Mason on Loan

2+2=5
I have no defo info just a feeling that this could happen, MM has always shown admiration for the player and Wolves have made him available for loan

Id personally be a bit underwhelmed if this happened

Sorry if this has been posted previously, but Millwall away are now listed for sale but still no sign of the Barnsley away? Have I missed something or are Barnsley one of the clubs we are still negotiating with over the price of the tickets?

Shefki just for the swallow dive alone, not to mention how gutting it was when his injury hampered our promotion push in 2005

Were they not as bad as each other, Keane really lacked man management skills and I think we over compensated by going for the tactically inept but very nice Paul Jewell

Personnally I think we should have given Magilton 1 more year to see how we could have developed as a team, if we had kept Magilton I wonder if he would have given the Rhodes Wickham partnership a go

Keane came in and ripped it all apart as he wanted to make his mark, wasted millions and set us back badly
