On the face of it we obviously dont want lcfc to win. However, the play off chase could heat up with hull playing lufc later. A heated game with the play off door open slightly for hull is better than hull ferling they are out of the race before ko at bellend road later. Equally, if ncfc won today they'd be confident going into sat with a 4/5 point lead on 7th. Lose and if cov beat cardiff and 1 or 2 others close that gap and suddenly ncfc will be a lot more nervy going into sat with a 2 pt advantage |

Asked a question, who was the last west midlands club to win a major trophy? Answer given was Coventry in 1988, while they did, think the commentator completely overlooked Birmingham winning the carabao cup in 2011 vs arsenal |

On the brink of being axed after losing to huddersfield. Thought they gave him a 5 year contract a couple of months back. They'll be running out of options soon but could be an opportunity for someone like rooney or lampard who no sane team would go near |

Given the fact there is clear premier league interest in securing his services, we should offer him a new contract without a reported release fee. If he signs it then it's a clear indication of his commitment to the club. If not then while he may have some commitment to seeing out this season, if we don't go up it would indicate his intention to move on. If he does go i have complete faith in the club to secure a quality replacement given the club is in a much stronger position than the past decade run by a team who understand football and what it takes to be successful |

Forest need yo trim a bloated squad, we need a striker, yes we would need forest to heavily subsidise his wages but could he be a potential option? |

Oli mcburnie is out of contract at the end of the season and doesnt appear to be a regular for sheff utd, proven he can do it in the championship but im not sure if he is out of our price range. Could be available now they have signed bb from villareal |

Just a thought but it's clear that ncfc were fully aware of the planned coach arrival on derby day and they also rejected the opportunity to follow their own players. Perhaps, they are disliked that much by their own fans that they believed by taking the actions they did would win them some respect within their fanbase by antagonising our fans. Now, they have realised their fans still dislike them that they again are clinging onto the faint hope they can win over their fanbase by trying to wind us up again. Surely their actions is and have been inciting trouble |

I cant say i know much about the lad but it sounds like the sort of defensive midfielder we need and has leadership qualities to hopefully compliment what we already have. If it works well could this turn out to be a loan to permanent deal? [Post edited 5 Jan 10:45]

While a striker or 2 have to be our top priority, i also think we need a new defensive centre mid as we are going to miss morsy when he is missing. How about ben whiteman from preston, looks a decent player and out of contract in the summer so could be available at a decent price, id also look at chris willock from qpr |

With km comments about scarlett returning to spurs and our intentions to improve a number of areas, how many do we think we'll be aiming to bring in? I'd also expect janoi and ladapo to move on so presume if ladapo goes we'll look at 2 new strikers? |

Ok so they are winning the world club cup which makes them the best team in the world atm, however their are teams above them in the leage, so are man city really the best team in the world? |

Ok so it's frustrating that we didnt win today. For me we only have ourselves to blame as we really should have been out of sight before rowe equalised. Result aside, i believe we were the better side but the ref made some atrocious decisions which benefited them on both of their goals. We will end this long winless streak sooner rather than later though 14 years since we last beat them, but in reality 9 of those years we didnt play them so really we need to remember this and in the 5 years we have played them, msjority of the games have been draws. Also, those games came under evans ownership and we are a different beast now to when we last played them, 3 pts in april will be lovely and hopefully push us to the verge of promotion which again will give us a further edge on them as they start losing any talent they do have to survive [Post edited 16 Dec 2023 18:31]

Just a suggestion, should we end up in the premier league next season, I think right back would need to be reviewed and if Southampton lose in the play offs would walker-peters become a viable option? [Post edited 13 Dec 2023 11:54]
