As i'm on holiday on 28th sep i can't make the villa game, does anyone know how to sell a tkt back to the club for the ballot? I've tried looking on itfc.com but can't see how to do it |

I've really liked what i have seen of him so far this season. Given the fact rory played for ROI i wonder if liam would be best served selecting ROI as he would be nailed on to be their leading striker given the alternatives they currently have. At the same time be good to see delap, ogbene and szmodics all representing them in attack |

Delighted with clarke coming in, think he'll be a very good signing, one thing which has crossed my mind though is having spent in circa 100 mil and yet another cb to come in approx 10 mil again, how do we get round ffp?
I know it's that you can't lose a certain amount over a rolling 3 year period but in a year or 2 will we then find ourselves having to sell to balance the books? Next summer I believe we've already committed to a spend of circa £40 mil if we stay up from the cajuste and broja deals so would they be the only real signings so help bring down the average costs between this summer and next? Could someone who understands ffp explain how we'll get round ffp or would we at some point potentially face a 4 pt penalty like forest did |

Did we over spend on our recruits in early july? I'm not suggesting they arn't good players as i'm sure they'll all show their worth throughout the season
But could we have got a little bit excited earlier in the summer like a child in a sweet shop wanting all he could and their parent didn't want to say no. Knockon effect is that further along the line their pocket money has run out meaning they then don't have the loose change available to add further sweets to their pick n mix so they have to make do with what they have despite knowing they need more |

With just over 3 weeks of the window left I'm starting to get a bit concerned by how quiet it's gone. It's been weeks since we invested in muric wiyh only a back up lb arriving since.
I appreciate how tough it is completing yhe types of deals we are looking at and ma and km have both spoken openly about a lot more signings needed yet we seem no closer to improving the squad |

Just realised Szmodics was born on 24/09/1995 - a day after Ipswich lost 5-1 to Charlton, from memory Neil Gregory replaced Craig Forrest in goal after Forrest was red carded and we only had 3 subs at that time
12 months earlier 24/09/1994 Ipswich beat Man Utd 3-2
