Will have to give this watch as I’m big Scandinavia fan. Some amazingly scenic spots up there that I’ve cycled and road tripped through, Norway certainly the nicest on those fronts. Helsinki certainly had a Soviet vibe about it, on the train north they had a sign warning that “No Spies” were allowed onboard. |

Definitely go with your gut. I was offered a job last week but felt the same, that it would create some uncertainty around daily workings as a family which when I began weighing it up, just didn’t seem worth it so I declined the job. They appreciated my honesty around why I declined it, and I also spoke to my current employer explaining why I’d applied for another job and they’re now looking at ways to take on my feedback. Your gut doesn’t get it wrong often, and honesty always the best route. |

All you need is £GGP. Company now perfectly aligned with the gold super cycle and a new price target and buy rating of 23p. This time next year Rodney. [Post edited 7 Apr 9:59]

I manage all the non-commercial air traffic up that way, been a mad 48hrs. A nice quiet but foggy start to the week quickly turned into chaos. The fog was certainly thick but as has been discussed, multiple systems to stop such instances. Should be interesting to see what translates from the investigation. |

Flynniesta return surely to help the void? |

A friend did one of the fear of flying courses, I think it was through BA or Virgin and it seems to have worked for him. He said he has little to no anxiety about flying now vs before where he’d be fretting weeks before the flight. Worth a look…for today though, as above, couple of drinks and you’ll be good. |

I purchased some XRP around four years back, a speculative crypto investment “punt” as could see the market growing and felt it aligned with this new generation. It’s been sat in red for a fair amount of time but good to see it growing now and happy to let it play out under a fairly “Pro Crypto” new US government. I didn’t back BTC as I felt I’d missed boat, obviously not the case but I ended up investing in some of the penny stock miners. There are still some decent penny stock plays there like MARA and Argo if you believe BTC will continue on an upwards trajectory. |

We’re friends with a current League 1 player who’s played at a higher level but is tail end of career now. He’s been signed to a club since he was like 12, football is all he’s ever known but is fully aware how short his career is so is planning what to do when he finishes football. His wife always says he thinks a hard days graft is going to training at 9am, having breakfast made for you and eating it with your mates / colleagues, before training for a few hours and returning home to do some housework and play on his PlayStation. Definitely some grim mid-week away games he endures travel wise and says he won’t miss going forwards as he likely changes career field once retired. Super down to earth guy though who said to me a while back how good we were when he faced us a few years back and how good it is to see some of the original team from our promotions now in the Prem. I’ll be passing on it. Just started a new save in the Norwegian Fourth Tier with Svolvaer to tide me over until FM26. |

If you like the outdoors, Stavanger in Norway is well worth a trip. I did a trip there over a weekend a few years back when Kieffer Moore was at Viking FK. Direct flight over, grabbed a hire car then went down the Lysefjord on a car ferry and did the world famous Pulpit Rock hike before camping on top. Next day back to the city, look around and then watched Viking play in evening before flying back the following day. Price of a pint is London prices as a heads up, but plenty of places to grab a beer and food that won’t break the bank. If you want to know any more on routes, drop me a message. |

G-DRTU taxiing from private apron now. UPPA TOWEN. |
 | Forum Reply | Look at me! at 15:36 24 Jan 2025
Delayed departure by looks of it, 1545 time now. |
 | Forum Reply | Look at me! at 15:33 24 Jan 2025
Maybe G-DRTU but not airborne yet. ADSB Exchange a solid flight tracking website if you’ve not used it before. |

Looks like a Jet2 / Titan charter. We had the lads through last season at Hull, was a race to get out first between them and the Hull owner on his jet. Teams chartering aircraft seems increasingly popular, even in Champ now though, a fair few UK based regional carriers like Logan and Eastern seem to do it. |

Very highly regarded at Hull and from speaking to people at the club, they pitched him not far behind Delap on talent scale, time will tell. Put the decision aside in the summer he made to move back to his boyhood club, we’ve signed a real talent to work with our world class manager and link backup with Delap. [Post edited 16 Jan 11:01]

The weekly bugs from nursery are a real nightmare, Noro though we genuinely fear now after last year as not much you can do but ride it out. |

We had it last year…started with my one year old, day later my wife started being sick and we had to have ambulance out she was that bad, 6hrs after she started symptoms, I started puking, called in-laws for help and they’d also got it. Literal domino effect in 24hrs. Horrid virus and seems pretty contagious. We think we had it again xmas / Boxing day just gone although was just severe cramps and lesser vomiting than last year thankfully. [Post edited 2 Jan 14:15]
