Mid 90’s+ I’ve seen us beat Norwich 5-0 at home, Wemburley, been to Milan, Moscow, Grimsby away etc etc.
Taking any emotion out of it, today was one of the best games I’ve seen live.
Think we also won 10-6 on clear scoring chances. |

We beat both Charlton and Exeter 6-0 this season (even within the same month...!!), does anyone know if we have ever won 6-0 twice in a season before (assuming the same month is a new record). |

1. I’m still on a massive high from yesterday.
2. Congratulations to Plymouth if they manage to pip us at the end of the season with our unbelievable run
3. Congratulations to Exeter support yesterday with nothing to play for
4. Exeter goalie doesn’t even dive for Chaplins first goal (thought he did in real time)
5. Notwithstanding we have won 13/14 etc, on reflection from the past week we have just got better and better (P.boro 8/10, Barnsley 9/10, Exeter, well….)
6. Before the game and in the past Xmonths it’s just been a sea of happy smiling faces at FPR
7. Potential non-penalty for Burns yesterday makes up for Hirst not getting his in the 1st half against P.boro
8. First 40 minutes atmosphere was the best I’ve seen/heard at FPR
9. The clubs mentally has change to the positive - generally so has the fans. In recent years it would have been sacrolage to say we would win before a big match, how many times did you hear we are going to win this before the game?

I think Shef.U were in this league for 5 seasons before they got out, there is a cycle to go through to start again and we were definitely starting again…. |

Been going since the early 90’s, the Burley years - Wembley, Moscow, Milan are my obvious highlights. YouTube keeps offering me highlights from games 5-9 years ago - as others have said, what we have seen for the majority of the past year+ is night and day from recent seasons where our season has been over by March.
So many if, buts and maybes gone and to go - so much achieved already, without actually achieving anything yet. Bring it on. |
