I suggest Blue Action could display a large pair of spectacles. Then at an appropriate moment everyone sits down, then someone stands and shouts 'I'm Spectacles', someone else does the same, followed by another and another until we're all standing! It's risky and might make Cunha play better but it would amuse me :)
Our cheapest seat is £32 currently, if we stay in the PL we're sure to see a hike in price. Ignoring season ticket prices, how much would you be prepared to pay? I'm thinking I could maybe go to £50 - here's a list for comparison
I'm too old and lazy to want to stand for 90 minutes but wondering what people think of the safe standing areas ? Is it likely that it'll be extended to SBR lower?
On Monday, the ref made a mistake at Palmer's free kick, the mark for the ball was about 5 feet from the penalty Arc (which is 10 yards from penalty spot) but the ref marked the wall about one foot from the penalty spot. I saw it from the West stand and you can see the marking on the Sky highlights, it gave Palmer a 4 foot advantage. And while I'm in a picky mood, the penalty circle (not a spot anymore it seems!), is measured 12 yards from it's centre to the goal line. Penalty takers are taking the penalty goal side of the 'spot', that's about an eight inch advantage (compared to the ball being on the spot). Same for everyone I guess but odd nevertheless.
Pundits are saying it'll be an away win, most of the YouTubers, even Matt SB and Benjamin B are saying the same but one of these days we're going to click and get the rub of the green, for a change! I think Sunday might be the day - after Tuesday's flat performance and quiet crowd, surely we can get the place rocking again, early goal(s) and up the table we go .... COYB
I actually think we'll beat Palace and get at least a point from Bournemouth but if we get beat twice this week, I don't see how we can avoid the drop I'll be shouting my head off in supporting the Town tomorrow !
So who do you want? Norwich at home would be awesome, actually any home draw is okay 'cause the PL starves us of football! I think a run in the cup might help us
I think I’m right in thinking that if you’re a member, you can enter a ballot to get a home ticket, regardless of previous attendance. However, for away tickets there is a requirement to have points from previous away fixtures. I’m a ST holder, I went to a few away games in league one but I was unable to go to any last season. It would seem that away ticket allocation is now a closed shop, with roughly the same group of people going to each game. I admire all those who go to the away games, just wondering when someone like me will have another opportunity?
