A touch harsh, perhaps? What undergarments a gentleman chooses to wear in the privacy of his own taxpayer-funded official residence is his own business surely? I'm in suspenders to see what happens next.
Politics has always seemed to me a sordid affair, practised in the main by corrupt money men. The Whig bankers of the 18th century were a disgrace to the country, but this cabal of foetid oiks seem to be much more worthy of that description.
I do know that neither of these gentlemen have constituencies in Suffolk, but I am saddened that the shame of being represented by either of them must belong to another county's electorate.

A young lady has taken a room in the splendid Tudor cottage next-door to the Vicarage; a rather well-built example.
She is having some trouble integrating with the other women in the residence, and of particular difficulty at the moment is the ridicule being shown to her with regard to the manner and style of the clothing which she hangs out to dry on the washing line.
Her old-fashioned nightdress is being lampooned mercilessly today, so I intend to go around there forthwith and hope to have it out with her nightie mockers in the hope that I may bring them around to my standpoint. |

Whilst cycling back from afternoon prayers, I dicked up a fed peasant, which will serve just nicely for Sunday luncheon. Spuds; I have a full sack, please bring parrots and keys. |
