Far right politico Charlie Kirk just shot in the neck in Utah
at 01:11 13 Sep 2025

An interesting video I thought I’d leave for the morning.

I mean, I was at the game and never heard this, definitely not from Town fans. A mic near the away fans maybe? Very odd one I must say.

Can we talk about how crap they are?
at 23:59 12 Sep 2025

I actually thought for the most part they were a decent side that challenged us well in the first half. Soon as the second went in though, it was like we were playing a different team. Heads completely dropped.

I hope they pick up soon in fairness, a lot of time for them - their fans never stopped singing.

Can’t say I agree with a lot of your opinions, but I one hundred percent agree with that one ;)

Very very positive signs from him early doors. As the above mentioned, love how he was talking throughout the entire game. Clearly is going to be a strong leader for us, something which we have lacked.

Can't say I know the ins and outs in all fairness, I have just seen many of his clips where he goes into mainly dominated liberal spaces with very intelligent people a la Cambridge, Oxford etc.

Mulling on it. The worst part for me is, whatever your political opinion (and to clarify I was not a supporter of his nor do I agree with 80% of his views), at least this guy would go out and welcome debate/challenge. He'd listen to different questions and was happy to respond to them. Put himself in very tough debates with very educated people across schools all over the world. The type of open discussion, you would think, that gets people places. He wasn't just some loon with a keyboard spamming X all day.

And this is what he gets...shot in the neck and dead at 31. Appreciate it's difficult to say without a motive, but it's not a good look for democracy.

While all this has gone on...

Another high school shooting. America is completely broken. Not even the sort of place you'd want to visit anymore, let alone live there.

Well, true. But put two and two together. That's the most likely.

Absolutely nuts. How can you put a bullet through another mans neck because you disagree politically?

I'd love to see what I call the Crap World Cup take place at some point.

The 32 bottom ranked teams in an all out war to see who's the most crap. Thrilling finals such as San Marino v Pakistan. A right laugh!

Another day as part of a police force that is actively wasting their time

Yes, I'm sure arresting a bunch of 50+ers at a peaceful protest is what we all want to see our tax money being spent on.

Their website is painful these days. Like you say, nothing extra gets offered for a paid subscription. And even if you do choose to pay for it, you can barely read it with all the Ozempic or plastic surgery ads all over the screen.

A new era begins, we will always love you 2022-2025 team
at 21:52 1 Sep 2025

Trying to keep a level head over this summer.

On paper, parts of it have been an excellent window. Cajuste signing for us was massive. We got some great money for some of the lads who were never going to stay anyway ie Delap, Omari. We have an exciting new talent in Egeli (which we beat European clubs to) who we are all buzzing to see play. Matusiwa looks like a great signing from his first few games now that he is up to speed.

But then on the flip side, some of the outgoings just seem a bit, off. The Chaplin deal in particular is one that I just don’t understand. In my opinion he is the best option behind the striker, great guy off the pitch, met him at a club event and the way he spoke made me feel as though we really had/have a proper cult hero of the football club.

I am concerned about the fact we have ripped the “spine” of the team apart in such a short space of time. Morsy, Woolfenden, Burgess, Chaplin. I wouldn’t have been surprised if Burns would have been up for sale had he not been injured. I expected outgoings, but not this many. I think it will be interesting over the coming months to see if the club share that position too.

Off the pitch, we’ve lost a fair few of our solid coaches too. O’Leary has stepped down. I don’t know, I am just worried that we have ripped up the foundations that we had put into place. It’s very difficult for a bunch of new lads, coaches etc to come in and hit the ground running. I think we are entering/in a similar period as to when we had a lot of outgoings in L1 and it took us a while to grab our first win away at Lincoln. It’s going to take time.

But, Ashton and McKenna have not let us down thus far. Let’s put our trust in them, we have no other choice. We can reminisce about the past, but it’s time we got behind the new lads and start a new “era” of ITFC.

We were absolutely spoiled with that 23/24 team, let’s not forget that. Every single one of them will go down as hero’s for dragging us out of the dark. It’s very rare to have what we had and we loved it.

Now, it’s time for new heroes. Onwards and upwards. ITID

I have got a really, really good feeling about this guy. I don't know why, but something just feels right to me.

A young Spanish striker with that haircut playing up top for Ipswich Town, it itches my brain right.
