McKenna Odds Drifting to evens or more...

Taking all 3 would be a bold move on Kieran’s part.

Yes, it was that and Leif's "I hope he stays" after Huddersfield that had me worrying that Kieran being our manager for the new season might not be as nailed-on as I'd thought.

Does 95% qualify as "increasingly likely"? I've lost track.

“All the hallmarks to become a top manager at the very highest level”

Well, thanks, Sir Alex. Would it have been that hard to say “This bloke’s rubbish, the most overrated manager I’ve ever seen. If I was in charge of, say, Brighton, Chelsea or Manchester United, I wouldn’t go anywhere near him”?

Irrespective of McKenna stopping here

Phi's story says he's expected at the LMA Awards tonight, so I presume it must have been a weekend break. Unless the awards are in Lanzarote, or something.

Who wants to see that Sarmiento goal
at 13:31 18 May 2024

Yeah, I love Morsy's reaction.

Hladky's run up the pitch is amusing because initially he holds himself back, but then he sees Chappers tearing across the pitch and decides it's OK to join in.

Always good to see, but I don't really get what the Titanic music adds to this. If ever there was a moment that spoke for itself and didn't need anything added, this was it.

McKenna is the 16th longest serving manager in the 92 (and above him are Klopp and Moyes, so 14th really).

Ah yes, the "Pass my best to your mum" moment. That's when I knew KM was a special guy we were lucky to have.

Don Goddman…

We couldn’t sign him because the fee would have to go to a tribunal, and we already had one of those lined up for Tony Vaughan’s move to Manchester City. A club could only have one tribunal deal on the go at any one time, or something.

Anyhow, I doubt Phillips is too bothered about not signing for us. Things went pretty well for him at Sunderland.

That was Westlake against Brentford in the League Cup in 2004.

It was Mark Burchilll, and he was credited with the goal.

No, November ‘96, a 3-2 win. It rarely gets a mention when talk turns to tiny crowds but, at 7086, it’s the smallest league attendance since midweek afternoon games in the 40s. I wasn’t there but apparently Gerry Creaney scored, if you can believe such a thing.

I see the Swindon 7,000 are being overlooked once again.

Edit: Sorry, didn't mean to reply to you specifically, Radlett.
