Cook Aiming to Maintain Unbeaten Home Record as Blues Host Fleetwood in Final Game
I would like Chambers to get a Testimonial in the last game of next seasons Pre-Season..
Perhaps against Forest (so some fans could say goodbye)....I think he should probably leave for a couple of seasons to finish his playing career with the option of potentially coming back as a coach.
I still do not understand why any loan player would play Sundays game- we have enough contracted players to finish the season
Shrewsbury Town 0-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report
I really do not understand people who think the future is 7 or 8 of this team plus some new players.
How many people are saying KVY, Wolf, Downes, Kenlock, Bishop, Dozzell, Norwood?
We CANNOT score goals! we need players that chip in with goals...
Think of left backs in our good sides- Thompson, McCall, Clapham, Taricco, Mills they all had goals in their game- Kenlock 100 and 0
Midfield has to score more than Dozzell, Bishop, Edwards, Skuse, Bennetts, Harrop etc.
Centre backs have to chip in more than Woolfie, McGuinness, Wilson and Nsiala and strikers Drinan 1, Jackson 1, Hawkins 1
We need a bigger cull than some are thinking. It is also a mind set- we need winners.
Ipswich Town 0-0 AFC Wimbledon - Match Report
Can anyone please tell me the reason we are still playing loan players? Please do not tell me it is part of their agreement.
There is ZERO point for Ipswich Town to be playing McGuiness or Bennetts.
We have our own players to play their roles. (for another 3 weeks anyway)
Blues Host Wimbledon Aiming to Avenge Defeat and End Goal Drought
For what its worth my team would be:
Cornell, VY, Kenlock, Downes, Chambers, Nsiala (Wilson?), Bishop, Gibbs, Dobra, Norwood (Jackson), Edwards
Northampton Town 3-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report
Remember when Lambert said the cavalry are coming. If we can just stick close to the Play Offs then we can get KVY, Downes and 9 other players back.
Lets be totally honest here- none of these players are worth keeping. They do not have the heart, skill or winning mentality we need. I am dreading the last 4 games of the season because we will probably lose them all score zero goals and finish 17th.
It is PATHETIC - what would have happened had supporters been let into the stadiums?
Blues Visit Northampton Looking to Revive Faltering Play-Off Push
We do not have players who know how to score a goal...especially midfielders and defenders. Without Neil Thompson's goals we would never have been promoted but our full backs never score now. Our centre backs once in a blue moon. Our midfielders only in the first month of the season and our strikers once every 12 or so games.
I'm going for a 0-1 defeat and a red card.....shocking I know
AFC Wimbledon 3-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report
All loans sent back. All out of contract released.
A disgrace to the club all of them but I do not think they care anyway. If fans were at the games they would have been roasted.
My team is pathetic but my Club is waiting to rise again....6 more pointless games to go.
Town Visit Rochdale Aiming to Build on Good Friday Win
mmmmm.... One home win all season and Ipswich coming to visit with half the team in the treatment room again- what could possibly happen??
I hope he plays the flair players- Dobra, Parrott etc.
Wigan Athletic 0-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report
I listen to the EADT podcast this week and Stu, Andy and Mark only unanimously agreed to 3 players to release...3! (of the out of contract)
There is way more deadwood than that. About time some of these players played in tin pot stadiums in front of 2,000 (after Covid) then wore the blue and white of Town at Portman Road
Bishop: In Monday to Work Hard, the Gaffer's Told Us
Same crap week after week and nothing changes.
They all should play for a club who get 4,000 fans a week and not a magnificent club and incredible supporters like ours. We deserve better.
When you hear comments like Fleetwood wanted it more...that makes my blood boil.
Goodbye Teddy and most of your team mates. The club is bigger and the supporters deserve better than mediocrity at best and abysmal at worst
Cook: To Play For This Club, You Have to Carry a Little Bit More Weight on Your Shoulders
Too many players getting a cushy ride and cushy pay check, thinking they are untouchable.
Saying they are playing for their futures at ITFC is way too late for me. The inconsistencies of almost all of them means they can go and play in a 3,000 seat stadium next season at their HOME Ground.
I never want to hear that "Blank wanted in more" That is NEVER acceptable
Fleetwood Town 1-0 Ipswich Town - Half-Time
We will get the odd result in the 3rd division but our players are still BANG average... all of them.
Our top goalscorer this season has 5!!!! The last time that happened in a season was Claus Thomsen.
They can't get motivated for a new manager or getting into the top six....How about telling them they won't get paid?
Cook to Make Changes as Hawkins and Skuse Make Progress
Emyr Huws will be the player coming out of the dark.
I thought he was very exciting when he signed and his goals against Newcastle and Villa were great.
We need a more muscular midfield. I am not saying he is the log term answer but Dozzell and Bishop are too light weight.
Perhaps a Norwood, Hawkins partnership in a couple of weeks as well.
I think Cook will probably be in the market for a new goalkeeper in the Summer as well.
Gillingham 3-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report
People keep talking about how good our squad is and how we have talent to win this league. The best midfielder in the Division, Downes. Judge will walk this league.
Dozzell and Bishop are quality etc. etc.
Well 31 games and all the games last season tells a different story. We are bang average with some games we are awful.
This is the worst group of players in 50 plus years of ITFC. Not just my opinion but fact.
Boss Lambert and Assistant Taylor Leave Town
I like Paul Lambert and think he did some good things for ITFC. Bringing the legends in to the fold... Appreciating the supporters in the early days....almost fighting the Norwich bench ;)
I wish him well I truly do.
I hope we get a Director of Football Operations as well as a Manager. Sorry Mr. Lee O'Neill ITFC is moving on and up (I hope) no room for mediocrity anymore.
Lambert: Encouraging, a Step in the Right Direction
Nothing negative to say after that.
Players playing for the shirt.
I said after Oxford that I really like Wilson and it was interesting hearing him say he enjoys playing with Totes so keep them together. I wasn't convinced on Kenlock but he is maturing as a player.
Parrott as a number 10 works well and Norwood needs to stay fit- although I am not holding my breath.
Happy tonight...lets see Saturday
