Three strikes and move on...
I would offer a million which is what we got for Dozzell...then I would move on to other targets. We have a few midfielders now (at this moment in time)- Evans, Burns, Harper, Bishop, Downes, Dobra, El Mizouni. If we sell Downes and Bishop that might free up some more wages.
I am more concerned about central defence at this moment. An experienced captain type would be great |

My opinion: I like what is happening at PR.
These players had a perfect opportunity to impress the new manager and the new owners but gave nothing, no spirit no fight and no desperation to get into the Play offs. Paul Cook reminded them game after game but still tepid uninspired performances.
All the players remaining have been in a losing culture at ITFC and they all need a big shake up.
Ashton has said that there ARE players at the club who will still be here in August, I see those as Norwood, Nolan, Vincent-Young, Dobra, Woolfenden, El Mizouni, (possibly Donacian, Kenlock, Bishop and Nsiala)
Meaning a starting x1 could be:
New, V-Y, New, Woolfenden, New, Nolan, Burns, Evans, Dobra, Bishop, Norwood |

Perhaps against Forest (so some fans could say goodbye)....I think he should probably leave for a couple of seasons to finish his playing career with the option of potentially coming back as a coach.

I really do not understand people who think the future is 7 or 8 of this team plus some new players.
How many people are saying KVY, Wolf, Downes, Kenlock, Bishop, Dozzell, Norwood?
We CANNOT score goals! we need players that chip in with goals...
Think of left backs in our good sides- Thompson, McCall, Clapham, Taricco, Mills they all had goals in their game- Kenlock 100 and 0
Midfield has to score more than Dozzell, Bishop, Edwards, Skuse, Bennetts, Harrop etc.
Centre backs have to chip in more than Woolfie, McGuinness, Wilson and Nsiala and strikers Drinan 1, Jackson 1, Hawkins 1
We need a bigger cull than some are thinking. It is also a mind set- we need winners.

Remember when Lambert said the cavalry are coming. If we can just stick close to the Play Offs then we can get KVY, Downes and 9 other players back.
Lets be totally honest here- none of these players are worth keeping. They do not have the heart, skill or winning mentality we need. I am dreading the last 4 games of the season because we will probably lose them all score zero goals and finish 17th.
It is PATHETIC - what would have happened had supporters been let into the stadiums? |
