Far too early to lay that sort of judgement on him Suffolk_n_good. As said above, he's started 1 and has been playing in front of a frankly pitiful midfield that have offered him absolutely nothing. He IS settled in as far as i'm concerned, you can be settled but still be given no chances if the team around you isn't up to the job!

From what i've seen it's not that Delaney looks 'uncomfortable' at LB he just looks plain lazy and that alone should demote him to the bench. Whether McAuley stays or goes (my bet's the story is tabloid tosh) we still NEED a more experienced and decent CB. |

Personally wouldn't be too upset at McAuley leaving. He has his good games but they do seem vastly outnumbered by his bad ones. He looks unconfident at times, often has very poor positioning and awareness and so far this season seems to have been saved by Pim a lot (surely this should be the other way round?). As said above, we need a big rock at the back for Pim to grow with, not necessarily Campbell (just can't see Roy going for him) but somebody of that ilk. He is truly a terrrible captain and I cannot see why Richard Wright was not given the armband at the start of the season. |

Let's be honest, beating this West Brom team was a pretty big ask with a pretty different team to the one that started last week. I still have the utmost faith in Keane, granted he probbly now realises the task at hand is much bigger with the players we currently have but sooner or later he'll start getting the performances hes asking for. We desperately need a CM and CD and possbly another forward if possible. This week is going to be interesting. |
