A Little Story

Hello, everyone—I haven't posted on here for a long while, but I wanted to share a quick story.

I live in up-state New York. Over the weekend, I was in a Mexican restaurant (El Patron in Cazenovia, if you're interested), and there was a young lad behind the bar wearing a football shirt, so I asked him which team it was. He said Chivas and was pleased when I had heard of them; he then asked who I support. For as long as I can remember, I have prefaced that answer to Americans with "You haven't heard of us, but..." but this time I decided not to and just said "Ipswich." His face lit up, and he said "You just got promoted!"

I guess we're back, my friends :-)
